Eren associates the hope in Armin’s eyes with what is beyond the wall and for the first time he wondered why he was unable to dream if everyone is free because he was born in this world, why was he unable to dream and that is where he came to the conclusion that he was not free. When Mikasa was captured by the bandits Eren did not hesitate to kill the bandits, he said that it was only natural to happen, it shows his nature that everyone who tried take his freedom he will not hesitate to kill them. When Erens mother was eaten by a titan, he promised to destroy every titan, he understood that if you don’t fight you can’t win and if you can’t win you will never be free. In Heroes by Robert Cormier, Francis Cassavant was a teenage boy from Monument, Massachusetts. In his hometown he met the love of his life and many good friends. His life seemed to be going great after Larry LaSalle came in and became the hero of the town, until Francis found out what type of person Larry really was. Francis faced so many hardships in his young life due to Larry LaSalle’s actions that he feels he has nothing left to live for. Francis wants to commit suicide because all of the bad thing that have happened in his life.
In Rodman Philbrick curious novel, Freak The Mighty two misfits learn to cope with each other. Philbrick’s use of tone and mood, displays the development of the boys character and relationship. Max and Kevin feel nerve wracked, when they are on their way to the firework show. Tony, a mischievous kid, maliciously intimidates a worried Max. Kevin confidently intimidates Tony by outwitting him. This shows that Kevin defends Max, showing him he cares. This is important because it demonstrates how Max now trust Kevin. At first, the character Larry LaSalle, from the book Heroes by Robert Cormier, was viewed as a hero and a person the people could rely on. But after he came back from the war, Francis only felt hate towards him because of what he did to Nicole. Larry admitted that he was obsessed with “sweet young things,” and there have been other girls besides Nicole that he has abducted But when he came back from the war, Larry lost his legs. Because he loved the “sweet young things”, dancing, and being a hero and he couldn’t do any of those anymore, he became suicidal.
In the book The Killing Sea By Richard Lewis Shara and Peter have different ways of seeing things. On page 75 Sarah and Peter start to fight again about getting the incline and maybe if she was not so rude thing might took a different path. Clearly, If things didn't happen as they did maybe thing would toured out in a different way. In page 75 again she was too scared to take off the decline and if she took them off faster he might not lost a lot blood. Just like Max in the book Freak The Mighty. He knows he’s big and most people get scared the first time they see him. When you meet someone new don’t judge them by height or looks cause they’re different. Get to know them and see if you can become friends or more. There’s a story I’m going to share with you about this topic. My sister didn’t really make friends fast because of her height. She’s 16 and small and I’m younger but taller, but when she does make friends they usually betray her. So she has some trust issues but now she doesn’t care cause we always hang out together and sisters make great best friends. Throughout the course of the novel, the reader witnesses Mattie evolve from a self-absorbed 14-year-old girl to an aspiring young adult. These changes seen in her happen simply because she has no other choice considering the circumstances she is put in.
