I completed my adult nursing degree. I began my nursing career in 2014 in primary care as a community nurse. I have continuously undertaken courses to improve my skill and knowledge in caring for patients. This has empowered me to deliver holistic evidence based care to patients in the community. I have continued to professionally update my practice and have developed comprehensive portfolio.

I currently work at The Queen's Medical Center - Punchbowl Campus, working the night shift as a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry RN with the Float Pool. After being out of school and currently practicing as a bedside RN for over 12 years (and as a retired Army Nurse), I've decided to go back to school to broaden my knowledge in nursing (theory and research). Upon completion of this program, I hope that it'll help open up other nursing career opportunities that were not available to me as an Associate Degree RN. While waiting for this program to start, I've also completed several courses in Healthcare Administration; hopefully, the combination of these two programs/degree may also open up other opportunities in the administrative portion of the healthcare industry.

My name is Randi Duguay and I am a sophomore in the nursing program. After graduating from Husson, I plan on becoming a traveling nurse after gaining some experience working. I want to be able to travel the world and be able to help people at the same time. I am from Jay, Maine and currently work as a CNA.

My name is Jonathan Greer; I’m currently attending Daytona State College to receive my associates as a Registered Nurse. Although it has been an amazing run I’m ready to wrap this semester up, so I can apply for the Nursing Program. As you can probably tell I’ am very anxious to start my career.

I am a proud employee at Scripps Mercy Hospital and have been here since 2012 working as a CNA. I have recently been accepted to San Diego City college Associate Degree Nursing program. Since the age of 16 I knew nursing was my calling. I attended a local community college as part of a program in high school and earned my Nursing assistant certificate. I have worked extremely hard to get where I am today and earning this degree would mean the world to me. This degree would allow me to contribute my skills as an RN to provide efficient, effective patient-centered care at Scripps health.

I am currently a student at the University of South Carolina wanting to obtain my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I am a very determined student and strive for excellence. I believe I will be an asset to the medical field by providing patients with excellent care and to the extraordinary opportunities within the medical field. If I were to be hired to work for you, I would provide the workplace with many beneficial characteristics such as, demonstrating great teamwork and being able to make patients feel satisfied with their healthcare.

Nurse practitioners are nurses with advanced training and education who are able to perform tasks done by doctors. I yearn to earn a master’s degree in nursing to have an advanced education. I intend to work in a hospital to help numerous patients. Throughout my four years in high school, I have always aspired to be the best by maintaining a 3.8 grade point average. With substantial knowledge, I will be an outstanding nurse. My vision as a nurse is allowing arrant communication between a patient and a health advisor by translating for those who are only able to speak Spanish.

My chosen career is a registered nurse with a specialty in neonatal medicine. I am very passionate about helping others and learning how the human body all works together as a coordinated system. Currently I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) where I assist elderly residents with tasks that vary from getting dressed to making sure they are as comfortable as possible. While I thoroughly enjoy working with all of the residents at the nursing home, I am ready for a new challenge. I would like to gain more knowledge in order to help even more people with a wide variety of issues. I am interested to see what it takes to move up the career ladder in the nursing field. As well as what to expect as far as education requirements, salary, and the outlook of nursing jobs. In order to learn more about registered nursing I have scheduled an interview with Stacy Helmuth, a registered nurse at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to work in the medical field. From performing imaginary check ups on my community of dolls as a child to watching medical television shows, being able to enter the workforce with the skills to start a nursing career has been my most desired goal from a young age. When it comes to achieving that goal, hard work, dedication, and my lifelong passion for pursuing nursing will get me where I need to be in order to successfully complete Davenport University’s Nursing Program.

Hi, this is Ziying Tan again. As I mentioned, I graduated from Samuel Merritt University with a bachelor in Nursing in Dec 2016. I have served my Fourth Semester Preceptorship in the Oncology/Tele Unit at CPMC Pacific Campus. I passed my NCLEX last week and I would love to start working as a nurse soon. I recently became certified as a psychiatric and mental health nurse. I serve on our unit practice council helping to find solutions to unit specific issues. I have also served on the hospital wide nurse’s week committee, and a fall prevention committee.

I am a foreign born woman from Thailand and married to an American husband. We have two children, a twelve-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son. We move here eight years ago from Bangkok, Thailand. Nursing is my second career after being an environmental engineer, a sale executive, and a stay-at-home mom. I went back school after my son went school. I earned Advance Degree in Nursing from Valencia College. After graduated, I started my nursing career at Florida Hospital Orlando. Over a year after working on my first unit, I enrolled in a BSN program and received my BSN from University of Central Florida in May 2015.

I am a nursing student. I have a great passion for caring for others. My short term goals are to graduate Riverland Community College with my Associate's Degree in Nursing this December. I plan to work very hard and prepare to take my nursing licensure exam at the beginning of next year to become licensed as a registered nurse. I will then transfer to Metropolitan State University to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Hi everyone, my name is Crizelda Bagtas, and I am taking Master of Science in Nursing Administration. I live in Galveston County, married, and with three children. My current job is a case manager at Lyndon Baines Johnson Hospital. I have worked in an acute care hospital, home health, school of nursing, and long-term care.
