Bill/Jordan, I am writing to notify you that I am regretfully providing two weeks’ notice and will be resigning from my position as Assistant Project Manager with Layne Christensen. This is not an easy decision but I have to do what is best for my family. When I accepted this position, I was under the impression that I would be evaluated after a six month period. I took a pay cut of approximately $10,000 annually to accept a role in the office. I had to adjust our budget to accept this position, but I knew it would pay off in the future. I bet on myself and my work ethic as I always do, and I was positive I would prove to everyone that I could handle a bigger role. I believe I did that in a shorter period than anyone was anticipating. Then came marriage, a second kid, hospital bills, etc. …show more content…
I obviously did not get it, and Jordan has done a great job of handling this role. I was offered a position in the field, and I felt this was a pivotal moment that would lead me to success in the future with Layne. I worked in the field for approximately six months, and I do not regret this decision as I was able to learn the industry from the ground up. I learned many things that are not taught in the office. When you start from the bottom, you have a better understanding and a deeper appreciation for the dangers and obstacles our guys face on a daily basis in the field. You also learn the importance of having things scheduled accordingly and receiving quick solutions from office

I am Sarah Acado and I am majoring in Biology and obtaining a certificate in Agroecology, its great to have a green thumb. I am currently employed with the USDA Research center. Besides work and school , I enjoy spending time with my significant others. I enjoy outside activities and I like to go to arcades and act as if I am thirteen years old with no responsibilities in the world (yeah right). I expect to learn more about the human race and why we do certain things and learn about the different cultural practices. Within five years, I hope to be within my physician assistant career helping to better other people lives through medicine and therapy. My links to my two favorite websites are:
This is to ensure that the necessary raw materials and physical resources are available at each stage, and that the workforce on site has the right skills for the scheduled work. The project management team will need to produce a series of planning documents that can be accessed throughout the project. Each member of the project management team must know their role and responsibilities, including which sections of the workforce they will be directly managing.
The career I became interested in is a Physician’s Assistant, or a few people call them PAs. I became interested in this job in my sophomore year of high school. It all started when I attended the STEM fair after school one day. STEM fair is only offered to students who are in either the biomedical Stem academy or the engineer academy. At this fair, students tour around to different classrooms to acquire information on different careers. I attended the Physician’s Assistant one, where there was an actual PA to give information on what PAs achieve. For example, PAs examine patients for diseases, injuries and illnesses.
DearTJFP Hiring Committee: I am writing to apply for the Administrative Coordinator position at the Trans Justice Funding Project. I have been following TJFP and am constantly impressed by the work you do. Through my own personal experience as an independent filmmaker struggling to secure project funding, I am acutely aware of the complexities in the funding world and am interested in working with an organization dedicated to looking at grantmaking in a new and more accessible way. Although my past employment is primarily in filmmaking, the organizational skills required for this work fit TJFP’s needs in an Administrative Coordinator. During my six years of experience as a professional Assistant Director (AD), I was responsible for all filmmaking logistics, from planning through the end of production — keeping projects running efficiently and team members communicating effectively, which also means ensuring the entire team is safe, happy, and well-fed.
