The Supreme Court is a critical part of our government. As such we need the best, most able and competent judges available. unfortunately if the judges stay there to long, they won’t be able to do their best. Term limits are a good idea because they provide opportunity for more diversity, they would be not as much health issues effecting the court and different perspectives/ different points of view. There are many different types of diversity that would benefit the court; such as gender age and race. Indeed; females and males have different perspectives on how they view some cases based on their unique perspectives for example, in a recent La times article , the author states ; “ will bring perspectives that undoubtedly” (Los Angeles times). …show more content…

In the court they secretly have information about the justice’s health. But however, they only announce about them if a judge emergency care issue is bad; such as Ruth Hader whom is at age 79 and has suffered from cancer twice. If they decide to shortened the years there would be less health issues and may not affect the court as much with new justices. The court has many different perspectives on how they view the term limits. There points of view on how they can adjust the Supreme Court to be better and of course the judges as well. There are about 60% of people that support that they should change some perspectives. Indeed, “a court that more accurately reflects the changes and judgment of the society “(Christopher Ingraham). Is an example of showing more precisely what’s going on with society? The Supreme Court is one of the highest court of laws, the constitution. It’s the most powerful from both sides of the branches of government.
