These types of psychologist often deal with children with a variety of issues such as attention deficit disorder, learning disabilities, abuse, attempted suicide, or no issues at all. The author emphasizes how the actual psychological development of the child and the treatment of various problems that a child may face during development are the two most important things that a child psychologist must be able to handle.
