Anne Frank was a young woman in the times of the holocaust. For the time period was horrendous for a person her age. She had a sister named Margot and a mother and father. They were Jews in the time of Adolf Hitler's rule. That meant you would have to attend concentration camps and work for the Nazi’s or you would be killed. They knew you were a jew by your records like if you went to a specialist that would be on your record that you went somewhere. They also said that you have to have the star of David sewn on your clothes. There always had to be one on the outside of your clothing which everyone would be able to see you in public. Anne had to be a strong individual which meant that even in the darkest of times she had to push through …show more content…
Anne was born on June 12, 1929. she had a sister Margot, a mom and dad, Otto Frank and Edith Frank. The Frank family lived in Germany before the war started. Once Hitler came to power the Frank family went into hiding in Amsterdam, Netherlands. When the family went into hiding Anne was only 13 years old. The Franks went into a secret room in Otto Frank's work. The room was called a secret annex, the secret annex was meant to keep the frank family out of sight from the Nazis. The frank family was in hiding for more than two years. They were forced to live on very little food, and they were barely allowed to move during the day when Otto's coworkers were underneath them. For the Frank's they were not allowed to go outside, so they had help from two people that they trusted very much. Those two people were Miep Gies, and Mr. Kraler one of Mr. Frank's closest friends. They family even had to celebrate Hanukkah in the secret annex. Here is my viewpoint on why I think Anne was such an inspirational individual in the holocaust at only the age of 13.Anne got her diary when the war started. The only reason that we have the information that we do is because of her diary. She got the diary from her dad. Every day she would write in it how she felt that day. The only way that the franks could hear what is going on in the war is a single radio in the middle of the …show more content…
She wrote in it every night one day hoping to be a journalist, one day hoping to write books. Her sister margot even had a diary but she did not care about her’s as much as Anne did since Anne’s she put her sorrows in her words of her diary. If she had no diary she would have been not even able to make it in the secret annex a year but with being able to put her feeling in her diary that made it so that it was so much easier for her to make it through the day. The way she got along with her family and friends was not the greatest the only person that did not mind her as much in the end was Peter they were as many people may call it boyfriend and girlfriend. Peter was able to make it through as far as he did because of Anne. When times were the worst she was able to make it through and see past it and put a smile
Anne Frank, a name? A book? A girl? A prisoner? Anne was all these things. She lived in a world ruled by the Germans. Adolf Hitler, the ruler of the Nazi Germans ordered for the whole Jew population to be destroyed. He ordered all Jews to be taken from their homes and to be sent to labor or death camps, also known as concentration camps. Once Anne’s family heard of this they went into hiding with four other Jews. After two years of hiding, not being able to go outside, talk or move a lot, or being able to use the W.C. at certain times of the day, the Franks, Vaan Dans, and Mr. Dussel were turned in by a random citizen and were arrested. Before that time Anne had a diary where she wrote her deepest most inner thoughts. She once said, “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart.” I disagree with Anne’s statement, “Despite everything, I believe people are really good at heart.”
Anne Frank was born to Otto and Edith Frank in the late 1920’s, alongside her older sister, Margot Frank, who was born three years before Anne. This small family of four were just ordinary working class people trying to make a living like everyone else. Both Anne and Margot lover school and their friends. They both also really enjoyed writing, which included diary entries every day. Both girls, particularly Anne, wrote down every event and feeling she experienced. Which lead to the famous diary we now know to be of Anne Frank’s life during the Holocaust. Anne Frank’s spectacular ability to remain joyous and courageous through her outstanding struggle are displayed through the three main point of her life before the Holocaust, living in
Anne Frank was a German Jew. She was born in Germany. At the age of two or three the family moved to Holland. In Holland as hitler was gaining power laws were made. Those laws took away rights of Jewish and other people on the "undesirables" list. Those people were not seen as people anymore. When people were being called upon. The Frank's went into hiding earlier then planned. The people that worked with Otto Frank helped the two familties go into hiding. At first there was just seven people in hiding. Then another man came to hide with them the families were in hiding for almost three years. Otto Frank thought of everything and what would happen in other situaltions. From how they got food anf the way the company was run. Otto was in World War I and a very good soldier at that.
Anne Frank is resilent in many different ways such as being hopeful, strong, and persistant through the tough times of the holocaust. During the holocaust she got a diary from her father Otto Frank for her thirteenth birthday which helped her to keep sane and it also allowed her to express herself in writting and not actions. She wrote how terrible the world was and how jews were forbidden from doing many things and how much pain and suffering the germans were causing towards the jews and non-jews. Thankfully from her recieving the diary we are able to know and learn through her eyes how horrendous this was for her and
Anne was a young girl with big dreams. She had so many hopes and things she thought would happen through out her life. The Nazis were on the move to make sure all Jews throughout Germany, Poland, Copenhagen, ect. we're gone. Anne was born June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. When the Nazis invaded Germany, her family automatically moved to Amsterdam and brought only so little with them. As soon as she arrived Anne began her sixth Montessori school but, as soon as the Nazis invaded Amsterdam they had to transfer to a strictly only Jewish school and had to wear a yellow star on their chest at all times. Anne also had a good, loving family. They always had nice parties that Anne invited her friends to. Her father Otto Frank actually survived
“I hope I shall be able to confide in you completely, as I have never been able to do in anyone before, and I hope that you will be a great support and comfort for to me” ( Frank). Anne Frank, short for Anneliese Marie Frank, was born in 1929, and died around 1945. Her father, Otto Frank, was born in 1889 and died in 1980, and was a prosperous businessman. On January 30, 1933, Hitler had taken over Germany. Anne and her family were Jewish, and they were forced to move to a new place for a new life. Anne Frank was a victim of the holocaust, and she would later use her experience before, during, and after WWII to illustrate through her writing, the thought of a teenager during a time war.
Anne Frank was a very important person in history. Anne Frank Was a Jewish girl who went in to hiding during the Holocaust. She had gone through many hard things. They had to survive the holocaust, live in secret, and survive on very little. There were 8 people in this house. There was Anne, Meip, Mr. Frank, Mrs. Frank, Peter, Mr. Van Daan, Mrs. Van Daan, Mr. Dussel, and the cat (whatever its name was).
During the Holocaust, six million Jews were persecuted, and even more were oppressed by the Nazis. Throughout all of this suffering, Anne Frank still stood by her ideals she talked about and saw, such as hope, selflessness, and family. Anne had hope that she would soon return to a classroom someday, after the war is over. She also talked about selflessness, because of the people who risked their lives to keep her safe. Family also affected her because she had many people around her who acted like family, even if they were not consanguine. Throughout all these years, Anne still believed in these standards, even the toughest of times.
In the autobiography The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank, was written during a chaotic time period in history. Anne, being a Jewish girl of a family of four, tells through diary entries how it was like for her during WWII. She lived in Holland, which put her along with her family at a risk of being taken to the concentration camps. Being faced with this problem caused her family to go to the extend of hiding for years in order to survive. They all had to adapt to a new way of living, one where they had no contact with the rest of civilization. Although this was a completely new lifestyle, it was worth it since the outcome will be more years of being alive.
There were many Jews to suffer and die during World War II, under the rule of Adolf Hitler. Although all the victims of the Holocaust matter, there was one in particular that many people still read and learn about everyday. This “one” was a young girl named Anne Frank. She and her family suffered along with many others. Some even lived to tell about it. Although she did not live, she still lives on through her diary.
The Holocaust of World War II Imagine spending six years of your life in fear, wondering which day will be your last. Maybe you go into hiding. Sure, you will have a greater chance of survival, but you will have no communication with the outside world, proven by Anne Frank’s published diary, where Mr. Frank says that they must not “reveal that someone is living” in the Annex(“The Diary of Anne Frank,” Collections, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2017, page 286). You have a decision to make, will you keep living a “normal” life in fear of being captured? Or will you choose the safer route, not knowing when you will be liberated?
Millions and Millions of Jews were killed during this event including a little girl named Anne Frank. She was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany; Anne Frank lived in Amsterdam with her family during World War II. Trying to stay away from Nazi persecution of Jews, the family went into hiding for two years; during this time, Frank wrote about her experiences and wishes. She was 15 when the family was found and sent to the concentration camp, where she died. The Diary of Anne Frank was a big success and was read by millions. “Despite everything, I believe people are good at heart.” (Frank). I strongly agree with Anne because most people do the stuff they do to get attention, and the cause of that could be from their parents not giving them attention as a kid, so if you think about it it’s not their
Could you imagine having to go into hiding and fighting for your life only at the age of 13? Well, Anne Frank had no choice but to do just that. Anne Frank was very important because even it a time like that she was very honest in her diary and shows everyone what it could be like for a Jew back then. Even during all the tragedy that happened in her life, she said, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." The quote that was found in her diary dated July 1944, which were several months before she perished in a concentration camp. To me, this shows that Anne Frank was a brave, powerful, along with a courageous young woman. Even kids now of days could never do the things she did because our biggest concern
"The Diary of Anne Frank" tells us a story about how her life as a Jew was drastically changing during the Holocaust and the start of World War II (WWII). She was a very intelligent young woman that had hopes and dreams. Anne was a normal teenager trying to find her way in life. All of that changed when the Nuremburg Race Laws were formed. Her father who was a World War I fighter hid his family and friends in a Secret Annex that was blended in with a normal neighborhood. As she lived for months in the Secret Annex, Frank had written her diary, full of her experiences in the Annex. Everything changed though, when she reached the end of her times in the Annex. Hitler's men had found Anne and her family and friends. This memoir adds in to the
Anne had a tough time as a Jew and had to go through several harsh situations. As a child Anne and her marvelous family had to move around to different locations quite a bit. For example, Anne was born in a small city in Germany and had to leave because of some troubles her family had for being a Jew. This was when Anne’s mother, Edith, wanted to leave for Amsterdam so that they wouldn’t have a high chance of being captured. Also, they started off in a public school where they had a innumerable amount of different races all in a single building. It wasn’t until later that the children had to make a transformation to a Jewish school. When a barbaric man named Adolf Hitler became a huge leader in the German colonization horrific things happened to the Frank family. The family decided to flee to a secret annex so that they would not be caught by the Nazi Police, the Gestapo. She had to live in a firm where they were taken care of by her dad’s business partners, this event occurred in 1942. Living in the annex was not consistent for her original lifestyle and destroyed her self esteem.
