Some of the greatest minds in history became successful without having more than an eighth-grade education. Some of the greatest minds in history became successful after achieving a doctorate level education. So, is receiving an education a requirement for a successful career? The answer is no. Being successful is not determined by the person’s intelligence level after completing their education; it is judged by their determination, creativity and natural intelligence. Ann Sullivan was the first speech language pathologist. She brought the ability to communicate to a young girl who was born deaf, blind and mute. Due to Ann Sullivan’s natural intelligence of speech and her creative therapy techniques, Sullivan’s patient was able to utter her
I disagree with Ryder because in a way she is a villain. Abigail did so many things that put her family, friends, and others in danger. Abigail: Abigail lied to everyone so that she wouldn’t get in trouble but later on did. She also made her friends lie. “Now look you. All of you. We danced.” Abigail has done so many wrong things. She got Tituba in trouble, Elizabeth Proctor chained and thrown in jail, and John Proctor hanged. She told Hale that Tituba made her drank blood. “She made me do it! She made Betty do it! She makes me drank blood!” Elizabeth Proctor had to testify against her own husband.
You don't need to visit the urban lexicon to comprehend what Diamondbacks pitcher Shelby Miller means when he says the Diamondbacks this spring are "vibing."

When chaos hit salem, it all started from a lie told by Abigail. The lie she told harmed the people who had nothing to do with it. The results caused innocent people to be tortured and/or killed.
For issue 1.4 the discussion explored the question of whether or not sexual problems should be treated pharmaceutically. Connie Newman advocated for pharmaceutical treatment while Anita Hoffer argued against. Connie Newman presented her argument with various research, referring to the DSM to support her argument that sexual problems were not only a psychological but also physiological problem. She also laid out a comprehensive timeline demonstrating how the sexual problems have been viewed and treated over the years, progressing from purely a psychological based treatment to VIAGRA being an accepted method of treatment for male patients with erectile dysfunction (McKee, 2013, p. 51). However she did recognize that treatments for women had not
Karen Tandy arguments have evidence, explanations, and expression of causes to back up why she believe that marijuana should stay illegal and not be decriminalize as much as it has already been in numerous other countries. While Joe Messerli also has explanations towards legalizing marijuana, he didn’t have facts that back up his reasoning nor did he have evidence. Tandy used the contrast between myths and realities on marijuana to help with her argument. Joe, on the other hand, used a technique of contradicting himself to make a point and sometimes it’s okay to do that, but only if it was a part of his closing argument. Based on both arguments, I believe Karen Tandy’s argument is the most convincing because she had more facts and bad outcomes about marijuana if it was to be legalized.
Elizabeth Proctor being accused of witchery by Abigail Williams has garnered the attention of all of Salem. If she is proven guilty, she will be sent to prison for eternity. Goody Proctor is known in Salem as a good Puritan with Christian values, but this accusation and her possible hanging could ruin it all. Abigail Williams, on the other hand, has gained power in the courthouse and has accused others. However, many rumors circulate the village saying that Ms. Williams is not the good Christian girl that she has recently been made out to be. I am here to deny or confirm these rumors for good and find out the answers from Ms. Williams by investigating and interviewing her.

Forty-one-year-old Oregon medical marijuana patient Kristie Groce of Portland is no stranger to adversity. Kristie has suffered immeasurably with numerous medical illnesses and injuries over the years. She had even been written off as terminal and placed on hospice care at one point. Despite the mortal diagnosis, Kristie is now thriving in ways she had never dared to dream of due, in her mind, to the healing properties of cannabis. Cannabis has not only given Kristie her life back, but now she has learned she is creating a new life, something she was told would never happen.
As a matter of fact, in John Gatto’s article “Against School”. Gatto defines education, success and schooling and how they are completely separate entities, yet we associate them as if they were completely synonymous. Schooling doesn't always have to be taken before you are making huge figures and salaries. People like Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Andrew Carnegie have grown to an exponential size financially without the help of a college diploma; Carnegie without a high school diploma. Success before public schooling In the article, Gatto gives many examples of successful and intellectually satisfied individuals who have endured without formal schooling along with them. “a considerable number of well-known Americans never went through the twelve-year wringer our kids currently go through, and they turned out alright. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln? Someone taught them, to be sure, but they were not products of a school system, and not one of them was ever "graduated"”(Gatto). People have indeed acquired money and riches without the prowess of a degree,
After the trial and listening to the statements of the prosecutors involved, it is now up to the jury to decide what happens in this case. Dana Ivy is said to have been drunk, which resulted in a car accident on the morning of December 17. However, the defensive side says she was not intoxicated and that was not the cause of this accident occurring at the intersection of Justice and Eagle street. This accident resulted in severe injuries to Terry Vickers, the other citizen involved in this accident. Terry Vickers wants to charge Sandy Hearst, the host of a party that occurred on the night of December 16, for the damages. The plaintiff argues that Sandy was pushing drinks on Dana Ivy making her unable to operate a vehicle with control. Although Dana Ivy states to have not been drunk and that the accident was
Yes, how many people will actually find a success job without education? I agree with that it is because if we spend our life for schooling and several more years of our precious times in university, and then one fine morning someone comes and says that all you have done is not required for success. When asked for proof, they say 'look at Steve Job!' But in my opinion, success is not a just matter of building a huge firm from scratch and making billions of dollars. In fact, only a little amount of people in the world could be considered successful. For me, Success is more about of your talents and abilities that you can make, and that requires loyalty and study in academic institutions that will extend you intellectually. Therefore,
