Egypt was one of the most dominant powers in its time. It always changing with its Pharaohs and priests because of what they thought needed to happen or change. When they made laws they told the public that the gods had said that these laws needed to be in place. They happened to have a lot of gods so they could say which god wanted what to happen. This was the same in most civilizations at the time. These laws are what kept Egypt from falling for so long from interior conflicts. I think that this civilization used its religion a little bit to get what they wanted. They were one of the largest civilizations during this time period and they used that to their advantage when they went to do anything from making laws to going to war. I think
Ancient Egypt was an advanced civilization throughout their time. This is considering that Ancient Egypt had most or all indicators of civilization.Showing it is an advanced civilization about 3100 B.C.E or during their time. Egyptians began to settle along the banks of the Nile River, Starting as far north as to the city of Alexandria all the way down south to Aswan. They developed into a well-structured society as Far East to the Red Sea and west to Dakhia, Oasis among many (Figure 1.). The Nile River reached far lending a hand in creating a well-known civilization that consisted of building pyramids and producing crops for their pharaoh. Evolving from hunters and gatherers into agriculturalists throughout history, Egypt has claimed to be one of the earliest and most spectacular civilizations of ancient times. One could wonder if, what led to the collapse of this great society resulted from the Egyptians interaction with the environment by overusing
As far back as we know religious acts had been closely associated with nature and environment. Studies show that the Egyptians cherished the "gift of the Nile" and worshiped with each other as a thanks to the gods. Remaining faithful they thought would ensure to reflect a positive afterlife. They believed they would receive everlasting life in prosperity. Later we come to find this will change late in the New Kingdom. Religion in Egypt has lasted more than 3,000 years. The details of their religious belief changed over time as the importance of certain gods fluctuated their spot in history. At times certain gods became more prominent over others such as the sun god Ra, the creator god Amun, and the mother goddess Isis. There came a point in time where a pharaoh Akhenaten, a single god, the Aten had replaced the traditional pantheon. This allowed the system of Egyptians to unite more until the coming of Christianity. To gain more in depth of Egyptian religion I suggest to take a look at the Egyptian Book of the Dead. This is considered to be not only a spell book but also a practice manual. This book gives much insight to mummification and the afterlife they believed in so dearly. To have this book back in the day represented that you were doing well in the wealth subject of life (Acrobatiq,
Life in Ancient Egypt was one that involved an ordered life. The Nile flooded and the sun dried the land on a regular basis every year. People lived their lives in a orderly fashion that has them following set routines from year to year. This routine was greatly integrated with the Egyptian belief in the spiritual world and the religion it soon became. Egyptian religion helped people to see definition in their lives and gave them something to live for. There was an afterlife to look forward to and a spiritual rule of law that would take care of them until then. Also there was a state that was created by the religion to lead the people correctly. Therefore, the most important role that religion played in Egypt

The things of the past remained the backbone throughout their cultures life. They philosophy depended on a changeless universe, which resulted in no value in change. Institutional traditions and authority were the cornerstone to Egyptian life. Ancient Egypt demonstrated their traditional religious beliefs through a divine kingship, their understanding of nature, and their sense of afterlife. Egyptians lived in constant fear of their gods, not knowing when they might provoke their deity’s anger. The Egyptians viewed their king as divine, which means their ruler was part god and had absolute dominion over the land.
Once established in Egypt, the British took control of both political and military means. Although the size of Britain’s occupational forces was quite small in comparison to the size of the population, their presence was a constant reminder to the Egyptians of Britain’s strict power in the region, with consistent proof in the changes of the army. The British did not fully eliminate the Egyptian army, the pride of all Egyptian rulers sine the days of Mehmet Ali, as excepted, but they highly reduced its size and replaced many officers with British ones, in positions of command. While this was occurring, they even employed political power with a local administration. Although, theoretically, the Ottomans continued ruling Egypt and investing into

Religion for Ancient Egyptians was a very crucial part of day to day life, as it was the epitome of significance for all existence and life after death. Tradition was a major aspect to their belief system as many followed what was dictated to them without question. Laws and customs were generally just accepted due to the era they were in, thus no room was allowed for change.
First and foremost, Ancient Egypt was structured in the form of a pyramid. The top of the pyramid of course was the gods. These gods included Ra, Osiris, and Iris, and according to the people of Egypt, these gods controlled almost the entire earth. Leaders in Egypt were called pharaohs so they were believed to be Gods in human form which is amazing. The ruler in status were powerful nobles and priests. Ancient Egyptian religion was unique: several scholars have noted that there was no other religion like it in all of history.1 The combination of deities, mythology and attached ritual activities were created and built upon over centuries, and so it is a very complex theological structure. The religion itself was polytheistic (meaning that many gods were worshipped simultaneously), although at times in Egypt’s history, and depending on the governmental ruler, we have evidence of henotheism (focus on one god, but not excluding others).2 In order to add to the mystery of their

Inside the pyramids, they were decorated in stars and constellations. Temples were built to house the cult statues of gods. Egypt was main governed by Pharaohs, thus they had authority to use their commands which were commanded by Gods. For the society that had been impacted through religion it played an important role such as carrying out certain rituals so that people would be able to carry them out in temples in times of worshipping. For priests, they would respond to gods and listen to what they wanted to do. Priests were seen as a replacement for Pharaohs that was why they would listen to what they had to say. Their beliefs were the main focus of their society that they had built their lives on. Throughout this essay it is clear that religion is a huge effect on their
Bordered by deserts, Egypt's Nile River valley was very isolated from other civilizations due to the deserts surrounding them. This isolation continued for thousands of years. As a result, Egyptian religion and culture remained almost untouched by the beliefs the other early civilizations at the time. This religion consisted of thousands of gods and goddesses. Around these deities arose a rich mythology formed that helped to explain the world to the early Egyptians.
