The most advanced technology for reaserchers and explorers today is the technology that is mentioned in "Search for Anicent Civalizations. The technolog yin the other articals is either not advanced enough or is dangerous for the reasercher or the explorer. In "Florida Waters Treasure Hunters" it was not much technology and really a someone doing a lot of reaserch and the technology that is mentioned only moves sand out of the way. In "Weather Reconnaissance" they did use alot of good technology but it was very dangerous which could get reaserchers of even explorers killed. While the technology in "Search for Ancient Civalization" is safe and the technology does most of the work fo them.
In "Florida Water Treasure Hunters" it says that a fisherman showed Mckee a cannon near the island so he investigated the site. He ivestigated' it does not say that any technology helped him to do so and then it says that he did reasherch about the ships and the hurricans that hit them. He technology that does help him moves the sand out of the way for him to find the gold and silver. Many other people also found gold and diamonds by doing

They did prove very advanced and they have saved many lives from hurricanes. The planes drop dropsondes which tell many things every two secondes of them falling they also fly winter storms to see how snow and the winds. These are dangerous the winds throw around the planes and if the plane is faulty or if you are not in the corect type of plane the pllane could crash. In "Search for Ancient Civalization" The planes do not go through really strong winds they just fly over and get infrared satellite imagery. They could also use an LIDAR wich maps out a three dimensional map. The LIDAR collected 25 years of word in four days. This may not save as many lives as the pilots but it is safer and does still get a lot of
In the y 20th century, Florida had many shipwrecks including hundreds of spanish ships, and pirate ship, American Civil War ships. Every year hunters go everywhere to find silver and gold. In the 1930s Arthur Mckee Jr., started searching for long lost shipwrecks he found so many bars of silver he gained the nickname "Silver Bar Mckee." In 1715 inspired a treasure hunt lasting hundreds of years. 1715 Fleet began during the late 1950s after Kip Wagner found a one- ounce silver coin on the beach. Wagner found the old spanish salvage work site which still had coins and other artifacts of the time. Then he saw an old Cannon on the ocean floor. Fisher's group a bunch of jewels as well as gold and silver coins minted in Columbia, Peru, Lima, Mexico, Cuzco, and Bogota. A family found gold chains, gold coins, and a gold ring which was worth $300,000 that was all buried 15 feet below the ocean floor.
Technology has improve dramatically over the past centeries. The AT-6 two-passenger fighter plane can predicct when the hurricans would come and protect and saves peoples lifes. It can also travel near the hurricans and we can collect data about the hurricans and learn them and it lead us to another great invention the weather satellites. The mailbox can help to find the treasure of the past, and the satellite archeology can help to discover the root of our ancestors. The AT-6 two-passenger fighter plane is the most important type of technology that's most advanced for researchers and explorers today.
Cahokia is an ancient city established around c. 700-1500. It was a city built along the entire Mississippi River. It was a major city with 20,000-30,000 people and was a major trade center. It had a social structure set up by royalty, a Theocracy. Mesa Verde on the other hand was inhabited by the Anasazi in c.1100-1300. It was built mostly under cliffs and housed thousands. They were both similar in the time periods they inhabited and both had over thousands of people. Both planted corn but the Anasazi planted the three sister crops together while the people of Cahokia main crop was corn. Both societies had taken notice of the ancient supernova of 1054. This let scientist know that both civilization inhabited around such period. Also, showed
Ancient civilizations made some important contributions to our life today. They started around 3500 BC. Ancient civilizations also achieved many things. Some of those things were new inventions, the use of new technology, writing systems and architectural skills. Two of the many civilizations that did these things were the Chinese and Egyptians.
When you hear of an Advanced Ancient civilization in North America, you usually think of either Mayans, Aztecs, or sometimes the Olmec. But in this paper I won’t be talking about any of those civilizations, we’ll be talking about the Native Americans that lived in the Mississippi Valley, by the Mississippi River. That have their capital not 6 miles outside of St.Louis.
Technology is a part of life that evolves. Technology has changed through the years and will continue to change. Though technology changes and evolves there are some types of technology that are more useful than others, because of this I will be going over a few different types of technology and explaining how one of them is more useful than the others. The types of technology I will be going over are underwater treasure salvaging, the Hurricane Hunters, and satellite archaeology. I believe Hurricane Hunters to have the most useful technology out of the three, and here's why.
Many civilizations fail due to human's activity. A famous example would be the Easter Island who failed to see the long-term effects they had on their island. But other civilizations decline is not directly related to human activity.
Ancient civilizations such as Sumeria, Egypt, and Babylon have all contributed to humankind and some way through their major achievements. the achievements of these civilizations have all helped later civilizations develop due to the examples of these past groups. some ancient civilizations developed techniques of farming and others comma some of the first written languages. All of these achievements are equally important for later developing civilizations. The Sumerians were a civilization that helped to contribute to humankind with their achievements involving architecture, weapons, and writing.
Technology has definitely advanced through the years. A long time ago, things that fell under the category “technology” were a big stick of wood or big rock. Nowadays technology is things like electric cars and wireless headphones. People, as a species have evolved so much in admittedly not that long of a time. Imagine (if going back in time was possible) taking a cave-man to the present.
The short story of Leiningen Versus the Ants is a story in which the human versus nature aspect takes over. Leiningen soon realizes that even though he is a human nature can still overpower. He thinks that just because he is bigger and maybe even smarter, than the ants that that means that the ants could never stop him. When a person is forced into a conflict with nature they will soon realize nature is much more powerful than they think because nature has much more power than almost any human in existence. Throughout the story Leiningen has different opinions on the ants.
Currently the United States has the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare. It’s plan is to help individuals have affordable health care coverage. However, it has raised some red flags. “ The AMA is against it, AARP is against it, the American Hospital Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Catholic Health Association of the United States and the Children's Hospital Association are all against it” (“Republican”). To replace Obamacare, many politicians in the democratic and liberal parties are pushing for Universal Health Care.
In my opinion the LIDAR (light detection and ranging) and the GPR (ground penetrating radar) from the article "search for ancient civilizations" are the best inventions compared to the rest because they (together) use a chunk of land and research it with out digging it up which would take forever so they study the chunk of land by using satellite imagery and the GPR again to study the chunk to see if there is any buried treasure making great use of time and less injured people too!, Although I tip my hat for the dropsonde hurricane sensor and the planes (WC-130J)from the article "weather reconnaissance" but i find it "low tech" and "most likely replacable in the near future" because mankind is always coming up with new things everyday (although
Over the course of human history, humans and our ancestors have made tremendous strides. From Homo habilis making the first stone tools to the Egyptians building The Pyramids of Giza, human history is nothing short of intriguing. If it wouldn’t have been for each stride made by our ancestors we probably wouldn’t live in the world that we live in today. When the Neolithic Era began in 9600 BCE, human civilizations gradually started to spring up all over the world. Humans set up civilizations from Mesopotamia in the Middle East, to China in East Asia, and all the way to Caral-Supe in South America. Although these ancient civilizations were separated by thousands of miles, they all share common patterns and
For my community project a few of my friends and I attended a fundraiser to benefit Relay for Life at PDQ restaurant, which is a fast food place in Sweetwater, Florida that proudly supports Florida International University. Relay for Life an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society, in which there is a full night of events and a relay to help raise money for cancer research and cancer awareness, sponsor an event. On the day of February 17, 2016, the Phi Mu sorority at Florida International University hosted an event at PDQ that for every purchase we made a percentage of the purchase went to Relay For Life. Knowing that the event was for a good cause my friends and I went to the event purchased meals and donated to the cause and told more
