The world is surrounded by individuals who are capable of creating a story and bringing it to life. Today, the way of telling a story is capable through so many different outlets. An individual can watch a story come to life through television show or a movie or he or she can read a story and make in come alive in their heads. In the Ted Talk, “The Future of Storytelling,” Shonda Rhimes informs the audience of her thoughts on this topic. Throughout the interview, she uses her background knowledge and personal experiences to explain where storytelling is now and what the future for storytelling holds. She portrayed herself as an educated, professional individual during this interview. Shonda Rhimes used a strong, clear voice giving her responses. Throughout the interview, Shonda uses hand gestures. She always knew how to correctly respond to a question without hesitation. She is the creator of the famous TV shows Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder (Biography). At one point in the interview, she explains the auditioning process she used during her hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy. It was interesting to hear about all of her personal experiences because the audience was able to feel like they were there. They got to have an inside look as to what a Hollywood screenwriter’s job is like. She used the auditioning process well because the audience could imagine completely what it is like. The intended audience for this interview is for anyone who is interested in stories. Also, anyone who is fascinated by where storytelling might be in the
