Character A character trait to describe Matt Kaizer is definitely risky. While he is an antagonist, he is dynamic. The author describes him as a spitballing, booger flinging, wedgie yanking, dare taking, teen as stated on page 8. Sometimes, the author would get uncomfortable on how far Matt would go to finish his dare. Such as on page 9, the author says “I felt tight with embarassment” to describe his feeling of Matt’s rude comment. And this was true, Matt was rude sometimes. But, throughout the story, Matt’s character changes. This happens when Matt meets a girl’s really sick dad. He tells Matt he is an angle for talking with him about their life mistakes. Matt realizes that he should become a nice kid when his dad and her dad call him a

First, Matt grows up by accepting his identity. In this book Matt faces a bunch of problems that have to deal with him being a clone. Everybody besides a select few, discriminate against him for
Matt Groening is arguably one of the best cartoonists in the history of television. When people hear the name Matt Groening, they immediately think about the hit cartoon series "The Simpsons" or "Futurama." However, not many people know much about Matt Groening as a person. Groening was born on February 15, 1954 in Portland Oregon. Groening graduated from Lincoln High School in Portland Oregon and graduated from Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington.
Jon Krakauer’s novel Into The Wild describes the young man Chris McCandless and his adventures and encounters before his untimely death. Chris was a young man trying to find his way in the world by leaving society and his life to take a journey of self discovery through travel and nature. In Into the wild, Jon Krakauer characterizes Chris McCandless as charismatic and driven. Chris McCandless was a extremely driven individual.
In the beginning of the novel, Matt was an innocent child who did not know anything and was not allowed to do anything. It is stated on page 23, “The fogginess that had surrounded Matt had vanished. His feet, his hands, his knees throbbed with more pain that he had known existed.” Matt does not even know what pain is as he has never experienced anything that could cause pain. As the novel progresses, Matt begins to understand what is right and wrong and who he thinks he is. By the end of the novel, Matt finally realizes who he is personally. On page 366 it is stated, “Matt understood at once …” Matt has grown in a positive direction as he has gotten older. Matt went from someone who did not know anything about the world or himself to one of the most intelligent and knowledgeable
I have had the pleasure of watching Kailey Keach mature into a confident and driven young woman over the past 6 years, most recently as her high school counselor. She works hard at everything she does as evident by her being ranked in the top 25% of her class, earning 27 college hours up graduation, winning numerous buckles and banners for exhibiting her lambs, goats and judging livestock, and by the many awards and honors she has received from all of the other extracurricular activities she participated in all throughout high school.
All actions have consequences whether good or bad, in this case, Matt does leads from one thing to another. The start, after doing the same thing in school every day, not snapping talked for the first time in a long while with a hatred towards his new teacher and how he is a “bad clone” (Farmer 73). After Mattix version, he started to talk more more where kept learning more. This led to being mean to María and stealing her dog; which later dies and Matt is blamed for the death. Additionally, after El Patrón entered the hospital for being sick, Matt was being hunted down to go and help him. Sadly, Matt knew what this meant, that he was going to be used as parts to keep El Patrón alive. When Matt relieved this, he decided to run away with María, not to the “oasis”, but to “dadas hovercraft” so they can go an live at María’s forever (Farmer 218). Unfortunately, his plan fails and is captured. He is then told to be executed, but Tam Lin could never do that so he let Matt go. Matt arrived at an orphanage where he talked back to the keepers and was given the name “aristocrat”, then the other boys began to respect him saying he has more “nerve than a herd of bulls” (Farmer 275). Since his actions to talk back, Matt gained new friends
About 15 min into the preparation of the mission and Fred had already seen more guns than he had seen in his lifetime. Soon after Fred had picked up his new rifle he got a ‘new’ way of transportation known as a B.T. (Bandit Technical). These cars are considered as powerful as a 2019 Lamborghini Veneno which had a 24 liter v16 engine. The B.T. was basically a copy paste of the 2019 Veneno, this allowed the warriors to be able to move at speeds of up to 204 mph as well as being all wheel drive to allow then to traverse over any off-road situation.
In my opinion, Matt is a little bit of an oddball. I say this because he was trapped inside of a house with celia all his life so he hasn't learned many words, he hasn't learned anything special. The other kids don’t really judge him at first, but then the people that lived in that house found out that he was a clone. In that point in time clones were thought of as terrible things that should not be accepted. At first they hated him and threw him outside of the house but then let him come back inside the house but then he was treated like a prisoner. He was kept in a cell, they treated him like an animal.

Aside from becoming desensitized, video games cause players to step over from fantasy into real-ity. Video games allow for the player to participate actively. They have the option to create char-acters with different physical attributes within the game. “For example, the Nintendo Wii console enables its users to design their own “Mii”; a customizable game character whose physical attrib-utes (e.g., haircut, hair color, nose, mouth, physical stature, etc.) can be modified to match the player’s own” (Fischer). The player gets to create this fictional character that they may have al-ways wanted to be to excel in an imaginary world. Without a personalized character, the player is not emotionally attached as he/she would be if it was a personalized character. Adam Lanza, the shooter at Sandy Hook, was described to be skinny, socially awkward and was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. It was observed that “in the game, onscreen, he was able to create a differ-ent version of himself: a muscle-bound soldier wearing fatigues, goggles, and a black beret and carrying a military assault rifle” (McGrath). Lanza was able to become someone he was not in real life. By playing and being an active member, Lanza was able to control his life in the fantasy world. He completed
Kevin Salmon is a Sous Chef at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, a Sous Chef is the second highest position a person can have in a kitchen, the position being under an Executive Chef most directly compares to an Assistant Manager. For lack of information about Kevin’s regular schedule we are going to base this day off of one preparing for a convention, which he does on a fairly regular basis, so it is pretty accurate. Kevin would most likely get to work at 8 in the morning, when he arrived he would walk around the kitchen make sure everything is all ready for the day and that his staff is getting started. Once he has done that he would probably have a meeting with the Executive Chef and a few other people, other high up kitchen staff and the people who are
Svin was a childhood memory making the leap from her mind to the real world. He had been a part of her early childhood since before she could remember. She'd never forget those icy blue eyes, which could be so determined and downright chilling, but also how bright and beautiful they could be when he smiled. And oh, that smile...and magnificent thew. That was new, or so it seemed to Mattie. While she could recall the man from her past, always there to smile at her, even spoil her a bit with sweets, he had always been just a little bit more than he should have been. Her first true crush, just one of those sweet, even innocent things that every young girl experienced. He was tall, handsome, strong, and above all nice and caring. Who in their right
Page 29, Question #2: What is meant by the idea that race, class, and gender are interactive systems rather than individual variables? Think about your own family of orientation, and take one particular aspect of your family life as an example. Discuss briefly how race, class, and gender act simultaneously to shape that aspect of your family life.
Introduction: Throughout the book of Into The Wild Chris McCandless is known to be a wacko reckless idiot, and is also known to be courageous and heroic. However does a courageous person go out into the wilderness knowing that the outcome will be fatal? People viewed him from different perspectives and also have broad range of opinions of this young man. Some deemed him to be incredibly dim-witted or a man that simply just followed his heart. Evidence shows that Chris McCandless is actually a mix of both. The first opinion that described McCandless was brainless, idiotic, and extremely foolish. Many passages from Into The Wild can support this outlook.
