Summary
In David Brooks article “Social Animal”, Brooks begins by defining what he calls the Composure Class as a group of men and women that are wealthy, snobbish, care a great deal about their looks, and on the outside seem to have life all put together. However, Brooks implies that this class of people is missing some of the more important things in life that does not have to do with their academic intelligence. Brooks gives the example of a young man that is named Harold to demonstrate a young man in the Composure Class.
