Adapting, Evolving, Adjusting Have you ever wondered why humans evolve and how important it is? Humans have evolved in many different ways people have adjusted to climate change they have also gotten taller and smarter. Adapting to an environment is crucial to the human race's survival ,because if they didn't they would die off. Humans have evolved by losing their fur and gaining the ability to stand up strait. People probably lost their do to climate change, and have gotten taller by somehow standing up strait. For example bald people are people who evolved a little too much and lost their hair. Humans have adjusted to things like climate change and weather change. Humans have adjusted to the ever growing heat by maybe losing their
We first started evolving when we worked with the enviorment by hearding animals, killing them, and mirgrating to new locations for example Africa to Europe and Asia. Because of our migration we spread out across the world which introduced us to knew enviorments which taught us new things. Instead of only knowing one area and being simple minded to that we’ve moved all around the world and became accustomed to many other areas and animals. Our patterns of settlement has also helped because slowly over a couple hundred years people began to realize that you can plant your own crops and they would come back every year, because of this e have learned to settle in one area, specifically by water, and stay. Being by water was another advancement from becoming simple minded to now because humans realized that being by water can attract animals, grow crops more, and provide a place to drink and bathe. Demography and disease taught us new things about different types of disease and how to treat them. For example in the Renaissance era a lot of people would throw their wastes in streets. It would get into their water and just litter the streets which cause bacteria to form and sickness to spread. Since then we realized how to control certain diseases and plagues by immunizations and to be more hygienic. Lastly our advancement in technology has
Climate change has affected us in many ways, but it was even more influential on organisms and their community. The Earth is gradually heating and we are left to deal with the consequences. Homes are being destroyed, organisms are dying, and resources are running low. Since 1880, Our Earth’s temperature had increased by about 0.8 degrees Celsius. Climate change is affecting the Earth and scientists say that one more degree will greatly affect people from all over the world. There are many consequences of climate change and each one has a great impact on all of us, but organisms’ homes are being destroyed and thousands of species are dying out. These organisms are imperative to our world and how it functions.

The Eighth Amendment of the United States Constitution bans punishment that is cruel and unusual. Implicit in that ban is the principle of proportionality, meaning that punishment for crime should be graduated and proportioned to the offense. Punishments that are disproportionate have been deemed cruel and unusual. There is much debate about what these words mean. The debate seems to focus on whether the provision was intended only to govern modes of punishment or intended also to include a proportionality principle, prohibiting prison sentences disproportionate to the crime.
Human beings are still very much evolving. According to recent studies, genetic changes in women over the years have decreased the age at which they birthed their first child. In one study the age decreased as much as four years from age 26 down to age 22 (Allen 2011). Another concurrent study looked at women’s physical appearance in correlation with the number of children they had. The resulting data revealed that, “stout, slightly plump” women had more children. Researchers found that these characteristics are passed on from mothers to their offspring and so forth (Harrell 2009). Therefore, as these traits are passed from generation to generation, the population grows and these characteristics become more prominent in the population. All of these findings confirm that the evolution of human beings is still very much an ongoing process.
Recently, there has been a warmer climate change, causing earth to get warmer, as well as negatively affecting earth, animals, and humans. Since 1880, the average temperature of earth has risen about 0.8 degrees celsius, which is a drastic change, even though it may not seem like much. Also, there has recently been a large amount of greenhouse gases being released, which is a large cause of why earth is getting warmer. Many consequences come with this change in climate. The fast-changing climate on earth has caused countless consequences that could permanently affect the earth.

H.G. Wells, an English writer from the 1800’s, once stated, “Adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature's inexorable imperative.” This means that if you do not adapt, you will perish. It is vital to adapt to your surroundings. In the novel, The Call of the Wild, written by Jack London, Buck, the protagonist, is transitioned into an extremely different habitat and way of living than before. Buck needs to vitally adapt to his surroundings. In order to adapt physically Buck needs to adapt his feet to the trail, getting used to less food and learning the sled traces. But, not only does Buck have to adapt physically to his new surroundings, he needs to adapt mentally as well. Buck needs to learn to steal and to be less fastidious in order to survive.
In the society we live in, man has always been able to adapt himself to nature but now man is able to adapt nature for his own needs.
Insanity is repeating the same action while expecting different results. Then what is it called to get the same results despite changing one's actions in an attempt to succeed? I call it the process of adapting. Darwin's finches, when carried out into the distant Galapagos Islands, experienced this process first hand. The finch population at first significantly decreased due to the new environment, yet the tenacity of all living beings to survive allowed the population to divert its path from extinct. However, the population faced the gruel processes of evolving in order to get acquainted with the adaptation. After many years the finch population finally succeeded in evolving. The process of adapting though cruel in its ways ultimately leads to success.
Why is adapting so important?Without adapting people would be sick all the time and die.Shelter, food and water, and climate changes are all part of adapting.Without one or the other everyone would die.People need shelter, food and water, and they need to adjust to climate changes.
People what to see why some are taller than others. Genetics are a big part of our growth and height. If our ancestors are really tall than you are most likely going to be tall. If your parents are short than you are most likely going to be short but you could be as tall as your grandparents, if your grandparents are tall then you might be as tall as them. Some people are taller than others because of their cultures. If your culture is short and you are short and another culture is very tall then all of that culture is going to be taller than your culture. People's ancestors affect how they are going to be. If your ancestor are short then you are most likely going to be short but height skips generations so you could be very tall and your ancestors might be
This week's hound out "EMERGENCY SERVICES LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION" outlines many significant factors required to be a success for leaders at all levels in the fire service, many lessons I have learned first hand both as a leader and as a subordinate. Although "the perils of adaptive change" by definition are a new topic of discussion to my leadership education and experience. However, when broken down into adaptive change vs. technical change become manageable by understanding the difference between the two. In both categories, as identified in our homework, key elements of leadership must be present to establish oneself as a leader. The first and foremost, communication - The one leading the charge must identify and relay their plan to succeed and typically it's through change. The "what" "when", "why", "how"
aspects of it. The human traits that evolve as we develop are indicative of our abilities to adapt
