Tybalt intended to fight Romeo because he disliked his presence at the Capulet’s party but after Romeo refuses to fight Mercutio feels the need to fight for him instead. This is not the only time Mercutio is a display of masculinity in the play. As Romeo’s friend he likes to mock him, calling him an petrarchan lover and joking about his version of love. The difference to Romeo is also found when juxtaposing how Romeo and Mercutio speak. For instance, when Romeo talks about the girls he is in love with or has a crush on he talks in poetic sentences. In comparision, Mercutios:” Laura was a kitchen slave. Surely she has a better love to make rhymes for her. Dido was shabbily dressed. Cleopatra was a gypsy girl. Helen and Hero were sluts and harlots.
Just because she understood did not entail that recklessness would be approved. But in the next moment the underboss had quieted herself, the heat leeching out of her voice. As she listened, she absentmindedly drummed her fingers against her own thigh, lips pursed thoughtfully -- although it was kissing the inside of her mask, more than anything. She belatedly wondered if Vivianne knew what it was like to kiss her cage. “What better way to have them prove themselves than by demonstrating their loyalty to the Capulets in such a manner?” Rafaella countered, her voice indifferent -- for, she could not really be pushed to care one way or the other. It was simply an idea, yet another vouch for the two infamously gentle creatures to prove their worth. She took a moment to chew on the words of her companion, eyes glancing up at the stars in thought -- as if she were beseeching them to give her some guidance. “Of course I will see this through to the end,” she murmured, as she gathered her thoughts. Edgar, Hippolyta, Orsino...Hippolyta she adored, so that would be no problem. Orsino was a constant at her side, so how could she say no? Edgar has known Volumnia since another life, and as a consequence Rafaella was in no position to disapprove.

Although the Messenger mentions that he does not think that Benedick is cruel Beatrice continues to talk about him. Leonato mentions that Beatrice and Benedick had a rough past. Beatrice goes on to say: O Lord, he will hang upon him like a disease! He is sooner caught than the pestilence, and the taker runs presently mad. God help the
This role does not only allow me to shadow doctors while they engage with patients, providing an opportunity to gain invaluable information and advises. This role requires most of my attention towards patients’ needs, which helps to establish a professional relationship and understand what they expect a doctor to be: caring and sensitive but decisive. As English is not my first language, my bilingual skills give me a chance to help some patients through being a translator. It is not the dream job anyone imagines, hours of sleepless shifts, tremendous responsibility with no room for errors as dealing with fragile lives and not products. This only further strengthens my decision to pursue medicine. What I most admire is how empathetic a doctor can be yet unaffected during a critical situation. It is more than just a skill; it is a talent.
I selected Dr. Richard Sowers, a prinicipal investigator and oncologist. He is head over a research team that has published over 50 publications and discovered many advances in medicine. Dr. Sowers describes his role as the need to better and advance medicine, in order to do so, some people have stated that he was ‘mean’ and ‘arrogant’. Dr. Sowers is not concerned of how his employee’s view him as he is only there for one thing, caring for his patients while discovering new health care advancements. Dr. Sowers life status is a respected researcher and physician.

After Don John deceives Claudio into thinking Hero was unfaithful to him, Claudio demands that Leonato, Hero’s father, “take her back again” (4.1.26) and “give not this rotten orange to your friends” (4.1.27). Claudio swears that Hero “knows the heat of a luxurious bed” (4.1.36) and that “her blush is guiltiness, not modesty” (4.1.37). He accuses Hero of being a rotten whore who has slept with another man and deceives everyone of her virginity. Shocked by Claudio's claims, Leonato asks, “What do you mean, my lord?” (4.1.38). Simply, Claudio does not want to marry “an approvèd wanton”, and consequently, Leonato begins to unfairly judge Hero upon his perceived “the defeat of her virginity”. To further affirm his new view of Hero through society, Leonato asks Don Pedro, “Sweet prince, why speak you not?” (4.1.58). Unfortunately for Hero, Don Pedro stands dishonored to “have gone about to link my dear friend to a common stale” (4.1.58-59) or prostitute. He reassures Leonato of Hero’s infidelity, and Leonato, therefore, believes Hero’s acts to be incorrect. Although Hero attempts to defend herself, Don John, the third witness, overpowers her. He claims that “there is no chastity enough in language without offence to utter” (4.1.90-91) the “misgovernment” (4.1.92) of Hero. This
Physicians are Flawed Heroes: Vulnerable to Human Imperfections The Father of Modern Medicine, William Osler, once stated “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.” Could a famous physician be vulnerable as well to a doctor-patient relation? Nobody is impeccable and every person has their unique tragic flaws.
