The documentary “American Jobs” was not really the eye opener since this has been the way American jobs have been going for sometime now. There were a few shocking interviews that leaves questions. Three things to look further into would be planning for the future, the cycle that destroys, and political side. The documentary was not an eye opener to some but, maybe others will take lessons from the film to heart.
First, the film show many people that where enter level jobs, all the way to supervisors, and some higher jobs. There were a few that talked about how they made really good money and had be with the company for several years. It seems a little odd that they would not have planned for the future. Back in the 90’s a change happened where people stopped company loyalty and had set personal savings and retirement. There were a few others that may not have been able too due to enter level work but, maybe they should have found a way to continue their education and find better paying work. Now I not say everyone has a way out and some people real struggle and with jobs on the way out of the country it does not make it any easier for those people. Planning for the future should maybe thought at a high school level to help put everyone on a level

A company has cheap labor outside of the U.S. make good, people lose their jobs, and then turn around and buy the cheap good because it is all they can afford. People have started to buy only products made in the USA. There are companies that promote that they produce in the US. The cycle keeps other countries in in a loop that continues to take jobs from the US and outsource the work. The cycle has looks for cheap labor not matter how it is done. Other countries do not have labor laws like here in the US. The lack of laws in those country leads to human rights in question and even crimes of murder and
The wages and conditions of the work environment are good in relation to other opportunities the citizens of these countries have. Not only do these people now have a job that feeds their families, they are learning skills that may benefit them in the future. The companies may also argue that they are not violating any laws that the country has enacted. Without the use of cheap labor in foreign markets not only would the company and it’s stockholders lose profits, but the products being produced would be more expensive when entering the United States’ market. This in turn would adversely affect the American consumer.
The American dream is not something that can be defined in one way. Some people illustrate the American dream as a life of wealth, having a hard-working career, or possessing a life with a white picket fence. America holds many opportunities and hopes for its citizens, but for those to be granted, many have to go through various years of education and hard work. For many immigrants, the American dream is changing a poor situation into something they can make better and move on from. During Trump’s presidency, there was an act passed to end DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival).
Through the years the DACA legislation has come a long way of providing a great advantage for undocumented students. Through the legislation we have been able to have a stable job and a sense of security. DACA does not only offer an opportunity to financially help the families of those students, who most likely are undocumented as well, but it also offers a deferred action from deportation which allows students to, for at least two years, live without the fear of being taken away from the US. This legislation has helped many students across the United States and many different ways the economy DACA provides a 42 percent wage raise for the recipients which can be connected to higher tax revenue and financial growth (Wong, Rosas, Reyna, Rodriguez,,
DACA is the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals was an American immigration policy that allowed some individuals who entered the country as minors, and had either entered or remained in the country illegally, to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation. They are eligible for a work, and schooling, they also have to pay taxes. Trump and State Attorneys General’s want to end DACA . There reasoning for wanting to end DACA is that it is a “amnesty for lawbreakers” (A Dream 5). To even be eligible for DACA you have to be in the US before the age 16 and you have to have lived in the US since June 15, 2007. I believe DACA should stay because it helps students get an education
With the plans to end DACA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, the fear of deportation has increased amongst Godinez Fundamental High School students and their families.
Background Information: President Barack Obama created DACA through a 2012 executive order. The program has allowed hundreds of thousands of young people who were brought to the United States illegally as children to remain in the country. People who apply for the program can not have major criminal histories, and must have arrived in the U.S. before 2007, when they were under the age of 16. DACA recipients can live and work legally in the U.S. for renewable two-year periods. DACA was a agreement created by the Obama administration after Congress failed to approve the Dream Act. Experts estimate that about 11.5 million residents in the United States are unauthorized immigrants
On September 5, 2017, president Donald Trump announced that DACA will soon come to an end. DACA, a program that was formed to give young immigrants hope, was the light in which we could seek a better form of living. DACA helped its recipients by allowing them to work legally in the United States, and also allowed its recipients to pursue higher education. Overall, it drastically improved the lives of their families following along with theirs. DACA was the blanket for us young immigrants.
What is DACA? A program that protects young undocumented immigrants from being deported. This program was intended to be for those who have a dream of becoming someone in life; this is where the name DREAMERS came in place because these young, hard working people have a dream. For centuries, Americans have been debating immigration. There are many pros and cons, but I believe that DACA should not be exterminated from these dreamers.
The DACA program is a policy, which is abbreviated for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. DACA is administrative relief from deportation. The purpose of the act is to protect eligible immigrant youth who came to the United States as children from deportation. The Deferred act gives young undocumented immigrants a work permit and protection from deportation. DACA increased the wages and labor force participation of DACA eligible immigrants.
Although America is the greatest country in the world through the protected rights of all citizens and the gifted freedoms and liberties that come with it, we used to be really horrific.

Seeds, Rubber Pipe, and Diamond. These are all ideas that are essential to our society running smoothly and they are all communicated using our understanding of symbolism. While these symbols are necessary to function in everyday life, authors and producers can also use symbols to enhance an audience's understanding of key themes and ideas, and Arthur Miller does just this in his play Death of a Salesman. Arthur Miller uses symbolism to make his audience think more deeply about the themes of success and failure in the play. Arthur Miller uses the seeds and rubber pipe to show that Willy’s is a failure.
The modern day American society hosts a broad spectrum of industries with various occupations and professions to engage today’s workforce. America, much like most first world countries is a service economy based on the exchange of knowledge and expertise rather than materials and products. People have a long history of work and work evolution that has ultimately brought America to a service economy producing both strengths and weaknesses within the society and its economy. As America has moved to a service economy, much of the manufacturing and production jobs have moved oversees to third world countries creating a reliance on other economies. This globalization of the workforce as well as unionization, and the
In the quote, “people generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for,” Harper Lee is saying that people have the right to think what they want to think. The quote itself means that if a person is looking for something, they will see and hear it. However, it is important to look and listen for the truth in all situations, not only what you want to be true. One can look and listen for the truth by not being biased in the situation. Observing all sides of the situation will aid in this.
Many households across the United States of America are using internet systems. Wireless internet connections can found in almost every home. This makes access to the net simpler than ever. Consequently, the connection is not always the most reliable. Individuals that play online video games understand wireless connections are not as dependable as a hard wired connection. These WIFI connections tend to become overwhelmed when there are multiple devices sharing the same connection. For this reason, the result will be lagging, buffering, or complete signal loss. Many manufactured devices have capability of wired connection use. Smart televisions, desktop computers, video game platforms, laptop computers and smart blu ray players are some
