Hello, I’m glad to have you all here today. How about I introduce everyone to the “All-Around Kid” today? My full name is Andre’ Terrell Mills Jr., I was born here in the good life city of Albany, Georgia. I was born May 11th, 1997 on Mother’s Day which explains why I’m a momma’s boy. Moving along, while growing up I was fascinated by many things such as space, astronauts, drums, cartoons, and basketball. Even though these things intrigued my interests, I still did not know what I wanted to be when I got older. As I grew and grew, my interests matured as well as my thinking. With my improved thinking, by the age of seventeen I came to the conclusion of wanting to be a CEO of a major world company. At this age, The “All Around-Kid” has taken off in his thinking and is not looking back.
Going further, my personality is one to take notice of. One day I can be as hot as fire and one day I can be as cold as my ex-girlfriend’s heart. I have been labeled as bi-polar, nice, mean, sweet, and funny. It all depends on how I am treated and how I respond to the energy that a person gives out. I am the “All Around Kid” for a reason, and that reason is the many things that I can do and the

Even though these are of some of my talents, I possess one main talent that shines brighter than them all, and that is the talented gift of music. My father’s side of the family is gifted in music and I have good reason to believe that it has been passed down to me. My mother has often told me that all of the music knowledge that they have had been instilled inside of me. My uncle has said “Andre’ I am surprised at how quickly you have gotten good with composing.” I am excellent with music and composing it. Music notes are like sweet black roses in a garden of beautiful harvest. I am talented nonetheless and will always be connected to
Jackson appeared withdrawn, and was somewhat embarrassed before stating that he did not do well in school. Jackson knows that he can perform better in school. When the other children began to tease Jackson, he was ready to fight some of them. This is typical behavior for Jackson, and is also a pattern of disorganized attachment. Children with a disorganized pattern in infancy tend to show disturbed patterns of relationships, subsequently, their relationships with peers can often be characterized by a “fight or flight” pattern of alternate aggression and withdrawal. Jackson’s coping skills when upset, threatened, or embarrassed is fight, unless the person is physically bigger than him. If this is the case, Jackson uses flight to cope, and seeks his grandmother for protection and comfort.

In the beginning, the Children’s Bureau was part of the Department of Commerce, but was later transferred to the Department of Labor in 1913. The law that brought the Children’s Bureau into existence also called for the Bureau to be headed by a Chief, who would be a Presidential appointee, subject to Senate confirmation. The first Chief of the Children's Bureau was Julia Lathrop, one of the Chicago women who helped lobby for the Illinois juvenile court. During the initial years, the Children’s Bureau took on as special projects child mortality, deaths of mothers in childbirth, child labor, and juvenile delinquency (Bradbury and Eliot, 1956). Through studies and surveys, as well as through public education programs, improvements were shown in
Kickstart Kids is an amazing program that has impacted my life and others around me in many different ways. Kickstart has helped me become the leader I am today, it has helped my shyness and make new friends, build my confidence and finding a passion that I love to do. I can start by saying how this program has impacted my life. Kickstart has helped me become a better leader because I can help out in classes and teach students everyday. I can also help out at my school and get involved to be the difference in the school. I can make new friends by going out and getting involved in things and meeting new people. I can meet people in this program that share the same love for the sport as I do. The Kickstart Kids program has helped me build my
Ordinary People written by Judith Guest is a story about a typical American family. The book examines how a family reacts to the adversity of losing a member. The book begins just over a year since the Jarrett family lost Buck, their teenage son.
The Child Study data I have gathered comes from the observation I have completed at Mission Bell Elementary School. Mission Bell Elementary School is a local school in Riverside. In the P.M preschool class there are 24 students, one teacher, and one assistant. The child I decided to observe is names Zoe. Zoe is 4 years and 10 months old. I immediately was drawn to Zoe because she had such a big personality, was very social, and smart. I am glad that I choose to observe Zoe because she was able to make my observation process smooth and easy. While observing her I had to pay close attention to her biosocial development, motor skills, cognitive skills, communication skills,
Hook? “Little Boy” was the name for the nuclear bomb that was used on Hiroshima. The Nuclear bomb used on Nagasaki was named “Fat Man”. Both of them were and are still questioned on why they were used against Japan. People against the bombs say that it wasn’t necessary for the U.S. to have used them and that there were other options that should’ve been sought. I believe that what wasn’t necessary was what would’ve happened had the bombs not been dropped.

Even before working at the Ymca I have taken care of children. Not by choice; it just kind of started when my younger siblings were born. With that teenage recklessness I applied for a position at the YMCA’s Kidzone. My first day was excellent. We only had 10 kids, all of them cleaned up after themselves and were perfectly polite. However, the next day it was as if I had walked straight into the Upside Down. Chaos, as I had never seen before. As it turns out, the latter is the day to day norm. In that environment it is very difficult to stay sane and easy to loose a temper. That being said, here are some easy ways to keep it together.
There were plenty of memories in high school. Just making it to high school was a good memory. Most of them were during my freshman, sophomore, and junior years.
