First, Ms. Bratton herself will testify that she felt no animosity towards Mr. Palmer. Typically, she was out at an open mic night with the intentions of working on refining her skills of comedy. It is not a crime to aspire to better yourself, your honor. It is not a crime to put in the hours, the days, and the commitment for your dreams. Ms. Bratton was putting her entire self into making her mark on the comedy world. Ms. Bratton, didn’t have the time to focus on anything else nor did she. On the night of the incident of April 13th, Jordan Bratton did not confront Preston Palmer, but rather she was out rebuilding her career.

In my personal opinion all the evidence points to Jose Antonio Ramos as the perpetrator in the disappearance of Etan Patz. Ramos was the former boyfriend of the women who took Etan to school and back during the bus strike (Berman, T., & Sher, L., 2010). Ramos was also arrested multiple times for molesting children, and police even found pictures of Ramos with boys who resembled Etan Patz in a Bronx pipeline where Ramos was living in the 1980’s (Berman, T., & Sher, L., 2010). In 1991 Ramos told a prison inmate of his named Jon Morgan, which was working for Stuart R. GraBois and FBI agent Mary Galligan that Ramos had told him that he knew what had occurred to Etan Patz, and that Ramos had drawn a map of the school bus route and knew, which

On May 15, 2017 I interviewed Karian Gomez about what it means to it means to be American to her. She also enjoys the diversity there is in America. For one thing, she could go to a nearby restaurant to buy some mexican food, including tacos which she likes. However she does wish that people would talk with different people
Laryn Murray, Freshman, inspired by her father, has been playing basketball for the majority of her life, and looking at her current basketball resume, it seems like that time spent toward shooting hoops has paid off.
From an early age Jordan Rudd, now a high school senior at Brownsville Veteran’s Memorial High School, demonstrated the athletic talent and the necessary dedication to excel. Jordan’s father, Brownsville CBP Officer Michael Rudd, was able to recognize that raw talent and competitiveness which is unusual for a six year old. Officer Rudd worked with his daughter molding her and providing her with the skills and technique she would need to make it on the basketball court. When Jordan got to high school, she already had a reputation as a sports prodigy, but what made her stand out was her commitment to the team and her good sportsmanship.
In New York, 2010, Kalief Browder was arrested for allegedly committing a robbery that he said he did not commit. However, he was still charged with robbery, grand larceny, and assault. The judge set bail at three thousand dollars, an amount that Browder’s family could not pay and unfortunately, he was sent to Rikers Island where he spent over a thousand days. He was assaulted by officers, inmates, and was also constantly sent to solitary confinement for nearly two years during his time at Rikers Island (Gonnerman, 2014). Kalief Browder attempted suicide many times when he was in solitary confinement. After being released, he tried to get back on his feet within society. His case was heard by many people, including Barack Obama, Jay Z, and other well-known individuals. All of them spoke about the injustice Browder faced. However, on June 06, 2015, Browder committed suicide (Gonnerman, 2015). Many people believed that the criminal justice system failed Browder. Unfortunately, this is not the only case in which the outcome was heartbreaking.
The interviewee for my project, Andres Alejo, is currently a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. He was so excited to express his opinions for this interview, as he grew up traveling back and forth between two cultures. Due to his father’s job, he traveled between the United States and the Dominican Republic until he was in fifth grade, when his family returned to the Dominican Republic to stay. During his time in the United States, his time was divided between Mt. Vernon, New York and Miami. Andres eventually returned to the United States to study Piano Performance at Boston Conservatory. His experience with learning English was not as difficult for him, since he started learning during his formative years. He mentioned that his

At age ten, Natalie Jonen went to her first baton-twirling camp. At the end of this camp, the counselor allowed the campers to twirl batons that were on fire. It was then that Natalie fell in love with baton and, later, fire baton. Since then, she has continued to twirl fire batons for Olympia High twirl competitively and thus has improved the hand-eye coordination necessary for both her sport and her ambition of becoming a surgeon. With the support of her father and older sister, Natalie aspires to use her natural talent and hand-eye coordination for the greater good.
