Chapter One 1 “Oh, Lexi. (Sigh.) How beautiful you are, and you don’t even know it.” Said Edward Moran. Edward had been in love with Lexi Crooke ever since the first day of school. The first day of high school. Elmer, High school. “Ed, are you staring at her again?” Asked his best friend Michal Truman. Michal had been dating Edwards’s sister since fourth grade. “I’m not staring, I’m admiring. “Edward said, still looking across the cafeteria at her. Lexi had long brown hair and dark brown eyes the color of dark chocolate. She usually had her hair in a ponytail or a braid. Today …show more content…
Everybody looked up from their plates and cheered him on. That night was to be the big start of the year football game. The night before was the pep rally. “I, believe that, We… Will… Win!” Jackson yelled out. Everybody was cheering. He walked about five feet past Edwards’s table and sat down at the next table. He had a tray already in front of him. “Um, hello.” A voice said. Edward looked up from his sandwich. He must had been too busy to notice Lexi Crooke had walked up to him. She seemed, lonely. “Oh! Hi Lexi.” Edward replied happily. “Is something, wrong?” 2 “My friends kicked me out of the… eating together club.” She made air quotes with her hands. She set her tray down next to Edward and sat next to him. She had all the same things Edward had on his tray. The carrots, turkey sandwich, (But hers is nearly gone.) Coke, and ranch dip. “Hey, Lex.” Michal said. “So, who all kicked you …show more content…
“But, you must tell me your blood type.” Michal whispered a couple words in her ear and then she let him be. Chapter Three Class was over and the three friends walked down the hall together. Michal stopped. He pointed to the restroom. “Yes you may.” Edward told him. Michal ran and flung his bag against the wall, then ran in. “He’s going after he goes to the restroom so, we can leave.” Edward and Lexi were alone in the hallway, together. Alone. Edward turned to the first period door and they turned and walked out the door. When they got to the parking lot they stopped. Lexi had a red Toyota pickup truck that was parked up in the front of the parking lot. She leaned against the driver’s door. “You hungry?” She asked, curious. Edward turned his head fast. “Yeah, I am.” Edward replied. He turned to look to the ground. “Want Subway?” Lexi asked. “Yeah, but I don’t have a ride.” He replied. “I could drive you.” Lexi stared at him. He looked up and turned his
In my opinion, the ending wasn’t satisfying. It wasn’t satisfying because I was expecting a little bit more. For example, when the whole entire band shaved their hair I was surprised. But, I was wondering as to why the girls didn’t do it as well, I was hoping that they’d shave their hair as well. Also, when Jeffery got sick and Steven couldn’t perform, but in the end he received an award for his drums. But, he didn’t even perform and he got the award, I thought that it was unfair for the other people that played the instruments. Also, when Steven went to Sam and she died I was heartbroken. So, I would’ve kept her alive, I would have let her meet her sister. I would let them have a reunion, then later on she would give some more advice to
”Oh no, I like being bothered.” “Bonjour,”Teresa said, leaving him outside her next class. She smiled and pushed wisps of hair from her face. " Yeah, right, bonjour,” Victor said.
“Afa where are you going!” Mako yelled. As Mako goes to search for Afa he hears rustles in the bushes.
Sleepless nights were Everette’s cup of tea since his parents murder. He obtained three jobs in the course of five years: murdering other people's list of victims, taking care of children in a hospital, and researching on finding who the people were responsible for his parents deaths. The last job, being the one he worked his hardest on. Sure, he worked hard killing for money and healing for children and their parents, but he wanted nothing more than to find and kill the ones who murdered his parents and vowed to find them before he lost his own life. The tall male would search far and wide within ranges, contacting people and connecting to find the murderers. Calling in South Carolina, someone tipped him off, giving him a little information that they did know. They didn’t give much, but it was enough for him to get a lead.
“It’s a beautiful and healthy land , George , It’s unbelievable,” I yelled so loud , like I want the world to know that .
After the excitement about the watermelons died down, we headed inside with the strange fruit. Ernie had finished up with dinner by that time. He laid everything out on the dining room table. Half of the family members gathered food onto a plate and migrated to the living room. The other half, including CC, Jim, Ashley, Aunt Jill, and I, sat around the dining room table. I was very confused by the food in front of me. I had never seen whatever rested on the plates at the center of the table. Only after CC put some of the food on a plate, did I consider getting
“Hello…Ethan was it?” A voice asked from behind Sam. Slinging his bag over his arm, he turned around to see a girl with golden brown hair standing quite close to him. She was gorgeous with vibrant green-blue eyes and tanned skin.
It's not that he didn't like anyone, he just didn't see the interest. Evenings spent with Dulcimar or talks or politics and kings with Professor Jax seemed to be his fill for deep affection toward anyone. He had found himself content for the single life, and was not jealous of any of his other friends for their relationships and never judged the twins for their choosing each other. They had constantly pestered him about how he simply needed someone, and that he was attractive enough to not have to be alone. Luckily, Jax had told them that Masanori's that he did not want a lover, needed to be respected and valued, just as their choices had been. And so they left him alone.
This was the moment of truth; Marinette Dupain-Cheng would soon confirm that her and Adrien Agreste were dating. She gawked at the mirror, not recognizing the beautiful girl that stared back at her. She had on a silky red dress, with black polka dots, and her soft blue hair was in a updo. Marinette still couldn’t believe that she agreed to Gabriel Agreste condition, but there was no turning back now. The stylist and the make-up artist really did a superb job on her. Marinette almost felt like Cinderella going to a masquerade ball, where she had to portray of someone she was not. She was no princess and this was no fairy tale.
Pretending shock at the concept of Karmen's accusation, Duane lifted the palm that had struck her butt, and shook his head in mock disappointment. "No need for a weapon, what do you think God granted me this for? If you don't cease being cheeky, and attempting to incite jealousy by your incessant talk about Mr Sheriff Karl, I'll be required to demonstrate just what punishment it's capable of."" He deliberately avoided any further mention of the man's uniform, and hoped Karmen wouldn't pick up on it, or simply assume she'd won that particular point. The thief had plans for the spare he'd located in the hallway closet, and didn't want to chance spoiling any surprises. Soon, that worry was forgotten, as his thoughts became occupied by her reaction to his honest talk.
Ed is totally in love with Audrey, but too afraid to tell her so, as she is seeing another colleague of theirs and doesn’t want to ruin their friendship by admitting his feelings to her.
I look at her, she is a nice sight to see. She has curly brown hair, caramel colored skin, and pearly-white teeth. "Yup, she 's cute alright," I say turning to look at Isaac, and I regret it immediately. He has this devious look on his face that tells me the wheels in his brain are turning...for once. "What is it man?"
Life is an unrehearsed play, always on its opening night. No ones know their lines, entrances, anything. There isn’t even a director. You just have to wing it.
"I know," he said sheepishly. "This is about the blood." The tapping had abruptly stopped
Finally, I arrive at Lexi’s. “Well, there is one thing I accomplished today,” I jokingly tell myself. I bolt to the front door, safely making it inside. Moving to the other side of the house, I cautiously move down the stairs, causing my shins to ache. The weight of my bags only applies more pressure. A short flight of stairs seems like forever. Scanning the room, I find a spot to sit. The
