Influential people can encourage people, make people inspired to do good or bad. Alessia Cara is a teen pop music singer that inspires people to think better about themselves and in a better light saying, "Stay true to who you are,even though that sounds cliche'. First and foremost she stands for women's rights and the right for women to have the same rights as men this is seen when she says, “ … women are more than capable of making our own choices about our bodies and our health care,” from the article call “First lady speech.” This quote shows that she cares about how women are treated and that all the bad things that happen to women is what she cares about tell people that women have right over their own body and no one should take that away from them.
