“What do you desire? What makes you itch? What sort of a situation would you like?” In his speech, “What if Money Was No Object,” philosopher Alan Watts begins with this series of fairly simple questions. Fortunately, I have an answer and the means to pursue it. I have a passion for the art of government, and so, I aspire to be an attorney and a politician. The Legal Studies Academy will help to lead me to these career goals. I was enticed by the idea of incorporating subjects which I am interested in into my regular core classes such as hypothetical cases and the ethics of law.
