Following the American Revolution (1775-1781), a new political movement called Republicanism took place. Republicanism was based on the ideology of liberty and equality, where the territory was no longer ruled by monarchy or aristocracy. The people were at the core of the Republicanism. The problem was finding balance within the social order of the population and their properties.
