The author of the article tries to say that a bilingual experience can have an important effect in people’s lives because when living between two languages or more a person has the opportunity to communicate with people from another country, to discover their culture, the ways they express their feelings and diffrent meanings of the words. Bilingualism shows a new and innovative perspective of the live and offers the possibility to chose the best way to express feelings, thoughts and emotions. In addition to the advantages that can make a bilingual’s life easier bilingalism is also a modality of living nowdays but very difficult for those who can’t adapt. Imigarants for example are obligated to adapt to a new life when they leave their contry and to learn another language. ‘Millions of people change homes each year, crossing cultural boundaries. Immigrants and refugees resettle in search of new lives.. ’ says Young Yun Kim in Preface: Bilingual Lives, Bilingual Experience Anna Wierzbicka. The problem with the imigrants that are not able to learn another language because of the circumstances or another reason is that they can ask for their rights and are not allowed to intercultural and social communication.Also some immigrants are not received in other countries because of political issues, religious concepts and so on. Even if they know a foreign language this doesn’n help them with anything. In this case bilingualis is not the solution. For example there are some bilinguals who can’t adapt to some groups because they feel stranger in the foreign country and the concepts are not the same.
