IV. Hitler killed to many people
There are many world leaders in different countries and regions on earth who play a significant role in societies. Their role is significant because they have derived their power from their own birthright or from the people who have elected them. The rise of Dictator Adolf Hitler to supreme power in Nazi Germany would prove to be an event in history that was totally inexplicable in any terms. He was an adventurer who desired to conquer the German people and dominate the entire world, reshaping it accordingly to his desires and pleasures. The evidence of his pestiferous acrimony is all around us, making it quite difficult to believe he did it all on his own. Hitler is one who emerges from obscurity to shake the world from its foundations. Hitler’s journey and significant role can be seen through his early life, time in Nazi Germany, and death.
Hitler was able to slowly gain more and more power until he eventually was appointed Chancellor of Germany. The beginning of Hitler’s rise to power started when he joined the “Deutsche Arbeiterpartei,” or the German Worker’s Party, in 1919 when he was just twenty years of age. In the year of 1922 to gain more power Hitler attempted to overthrow the Bavarian government. In Hitler’s viewpoint there were three great benefits of attempting this. The first benefit is that the attempt
Germany was in an economic depression when Hitler first took office, however during his first five years in power, Hitler attained economic success. The main reason that Hitler had been elected into office was due to the Great Depression in Germany. Citizens were looking for economic hope and looked upon Hitler to save their country’s economy. Adolf Hitler had a nationalistic view towards Germany and undoubtedly wanted to see his country prosper. Germans were inspired by his nationalism and charisma after a long period of the lost hope. (Llewellyn H. Rockwell Jr., 2012). However, it wouldn’t be easy trying to fix the economy; German unemployment was even worse than the United States during the depression. Even so, According to John Pike, between the years 1933 and 1937, unemployment dropped from six million to less than 1 million unemployed people. In the same time frame, national production and income doubled their original amount. Part of the reason for the decrease in unemployment was Hitler’s
Hitler was superb at convincing people to believe everything he said. He promised the people a roast in every pot, security, and many more things. By promising the people security that meant that he would keep them all safe and that he can do a better job than anyone else. Adolf Hitler increased in support from bankers and industrialists. So, pretty
Hitler was in many ways a great leader and his influence on the German people was immense; he used his motivational and powerful speaking abilities to gain support and popularity. Hitler knew how to appeal to people's baser instincts and made use of their fears and insecurities. He could do that,
He set up soup kitchens across Germany to feed the unemployed, and during his election campaign of 1933 he promised to abolish unemployment if elected. The unpopularity of the Weimar government left the people looking for someone who could restore national pride to Germany and save her from her current depression, and it appeared as if Hitler could do exactly that, which led to an increase in popularity and votes.
Why did average Germans support the Nazism? To do so, Hitler gave Germans huge tax breaks and introduced social benefits that even today anchor the society. He also ensured that even in the last days of the war not a single German went hungry. Despite near-constant warfare, never once during his 12 years in power did Hitler raise taxes for working class people. He also — in great contrast to World War I — particularly pampered soldiers and their families, offering them more than double the salaries and benefits that American and British families received. As such, most Germans saw Nazism as a "warm-hearted" protector.
From the time Hitler and the Nazi’s took control of Germany in 1933 until the collapse of the Third Reich in 1945, the aim of the regime under the calculating guidance of Hitler himself sought no less than global conquest. This ambitious objective can be further dissected into short term and long term goals that provide insight into Hitler’s character, thoughts and actions.
‘From the first day that he "seized power," January 30, 1933, Hitler knew that only sudden death awaited him if he failed to restore pride and empire to post-Versailles Germany.’[1] The Second World War was the deadliest battle in History. Figures estimate that over 59 million people were killed during its conflict. German leadership was under Adolf Hitler, a ruthless dictator who was the chancellor of Germany during the majority of the conflict. It is debatable that Hitler was solely responsible for the events in which lead to and occurred during the Second World War. Hitler was responsible to a large degree, however cannot be accountable for every aspect in which the
In 1930, because of the Nazi Party’s good fortunes and careful planning, their votes increased from 12 seats to 107 seats. One of the factors that helped them captured more votes was because they mainly targeted on people who were affected worst on the Great Depression like the farmers and small businessmen. He promised to cut taxes, protection on food prices for the farmers, and making policy of making trade unions powerless and stopped communisms to the small businessmen. It appealed them. Many male Germans also supported Hitler because of the military appearance. Female German also supported him because he made them feel very important as he wanted them to bear lots of Aryan children to serve the country. Hitler also made a point to declare through his speech that he detests the Jews, and naturally, those Germans who are mostly Protestants, too, blamed the Jews. In brief, Hitler appealed to a wide range of people in voting for him.
Many may argue the inclusion of Adolf Hitler in the list of world’s greatest leader. But one must know that nowhere is it mentioned that leadership is always positive. Leadership, as a characteristic, is neutral. It is people who make it positive of negative. Adolf Hitler was born in 1889 in Germany. He was of the thought that Germany was the greatest country in the world and that it should rule over the world. His crass mentality was that the Aryan race should wipe out the ‘evil Jews’ off the face of this world. After becoming the chancellor of Germany in 1933, he single-handedly managed the greatest economic and military expansions the world has ever seen. He successfully invaded more than 10 countries with his brilliant strategy and meticulous planning. His oratory skills, propaganda and planning made him a leader that only a few other have become.
The rise and subsequent take-over of power in Germany by Hitler and the Nazi Party in the early 1930s was the culmination and continuation not of Enlightenment thought from the 18th and 19th century but the logical conclusion of unstable and cultural conditions that pre-existed in Germany. Hitler’s Nazi Party’s clear manipulation of the weak state of the Weimar Republic through its continued failure economically and socially, plus its undermining of popular support through the signing the Treaty of Versailles all lead to the creation of a Nazi dictatorship under the cult of personality of Hitler. This clear take-over of power and subsequent destruction of any
Hitler can reduce the number of unemployment from 6 million in 1933 to 2.6 million in December 1934. Additionally, women are encouraged to venture into businesses.
Hitler, made leader of Germany by the President Hindenberg promised and pledged to improve the country’s economic and social problems. When he came to power in 1933 he assured the population a better deal of economy. Hitler set himself several targets which were: Reducing unemployment, Undertaking rearmament to create jobs, avenge the Treaty of Versailles and to prepare for expansion of Germany and to bring about economic self sufficiency so that Germany was not reliant on importing goods.
From January of 1933 to April of 1945, Adolf Hitler ruled over the German people and became known as one of the most notorious dictators the world has ever seen. Several studies done by scholars and historians show that Hitler “displayed substantial initiative, toughness of mind, self-confidence, and ruthlessness” (Housden 188). Using coercion techniques and his understanding of the human psyche, Hitler was able to bully and lie to his European neighbors in order to achieve his objectives. He fooled nations into believing his “peaceful” intentions, but his mission for World War II came to an ultimate failure leading to his suicide in April of 1945 (Housden 200). Adolf Hitler faced eventual failure as a military leader as a result of his misunderstandings of the “rules” of warfare. Hitler’s lack of experience and his inadequate knowledge of warfare were two of the key points that proved to be fatal.
