Adam Thielen is an NFL wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings. He played college football for the Mavericks at MSUM as a wide receiver. And unlike most players in the NFL, Thielen was signed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings as a undrafted free agent. Thielen was also one of the first receivers for Vikings to receive for over 1,000 yards in a single season. This great accomplishment could never have been completed without his hard work filled early life and his spectacular years in college. Steph Currys college career was stunning. He went to Davidson University in Davidson, North Carolina. In his sophomore year he set a new NCAA record for the most three pointers made in a season. Jerry Rice was born in Starkville, Mississippi, and grew up in the small town of Crawford, Mississippi. While attending B. L. Moor High School, Rice played on the basketball and track teams. Rice joined the football team when his principal caught him skipping class, and he sprinted away. The principal noted his speed and gave him the option to be punished or join the football team. Rice chose to join the football team.
"What happened was, he left Toronto and went to New York City, and was living with my wife's brother and was attending Wings Academy in the Bronx," McIntyre recalled. "But the travel back and forth was getting to be way too much for him for his daily travel. He lived in Long Island and went to the Bronx and traveled for 2 years. It was wearing on him . . . and he transferred to Lake Forest Academy in Chicago."

Ron Wolf of the Green Bay Packers had a feeling about Brett Favre the next year and pursued the idea of trading for him. When this process was taking place Brett had to pass his physical exam. The doctors told Wolf that Brett would last five years tops, because of a hip condition similar to what took hall a famer Deon Sanders out of the league. Wolf went with his gut feeling and traded first round draft pick Tony Smith for Favre. Brett came to Green Bay still in the shadows as he was backing up starting quarterback Don “Magic Man” Majkowski at the time. In the third game of the season, Majkowski sustained an injury to a ligament in this foot. I believe what Breen is trying to say in his essay is that the Englishmen that came to Virginia were very different from the settlers of other colonies and they had a much different society develop than what was typical in the other colonies. They were a highly individualistic society. Breen believes that the personalities of those who came to Virginia were, in part what caused Virginia 's society to become so individualistic. Being so individualistic didn 't exactly work out so well for the structure of society or the well being of the colonists.
Stephen Curry was born into a family consumed with athletics. His father, Dell, was a standout basketball player in college and a professional player in the NBA for sixteen years. Stephen’s mother, Sonya, played division one volleyball at Virginia Tech (Dell played basketball at Virginia Tech as well). Stephen has two siblings: a brother named Seth (also a professional basketball player) and a sister named Sydel (a college volleyball player at Elon University).
