You can achieve academic excellence if work your fullest

How to be a successful student? Different people may have different understandings about the definition of 'successful student'. I personally believe a successful student must be good in all aspects. A student who does extreamly well in math or physics but cannot write, read and use his own language and pass the necessary examination then he is not successful, vice versa. Moreover, if a student can pass all the examination on all subjects with high marks but doesn't have a healthy body, then he or she cannot be called as successful. The reason is simple. We have to use the knowledge we learn at school in our work. If we cannot work due to a poor health then all of the high marks will become meanless.

My education is one of the most important things to me in life and that's why I am determined to accomplish much more despite of the difficulty level. My academic achievements challenges me to do even more and obtain more

First, my academic grades in every class of mine is an A or A+, and this has been the case throughout my entire academic career. English and Language Arts may not be my forte, however, with hard work and perseverance, any obstacle in my way can be overcome. Being successful academically is what students devote their time and efforts to while pursuing a collegiate education at the graduate level. Many find it hard and frustrating to take on such a responsibility at this level because of certain standards of writing, and the time management needed to stay focused on your writing.

The pathways to postsecondary success aims to advance policies and practices that help young people enter, succeed in, and complete their postsecondary education, with a particular focus on postsecondary mathematics — an essential area for college success, and one where far too many students are underprepared when they enter college. Math is also crucial for STEM careers, which offer opportunities for social mobility and good jobs with family-sustaining wages to many young people. We prioritize strategies that support low-income students, students of colour, and first-generation university students, with the goal of making the promise of “education for all” a meaningful reality. Higher education is under great pressure to deliver on this promise, making this a moment of significant opportunity for collaboration and change.

Both long-range and short-term goals will be considered. Realization of the short-term goals, whether they be mastery of math facts, accomplishing a reading goal, or completing a science project, will motivate students as they pursue more far-reaching goals, such as graduation or employment. Effort does indeed determine success (Seider, 2012), and encouraging students to persevere will help them reach their goals. Another strategy for success is providing “sustained and deliberate practice” (Seider, 2012, pg. 144). Practice is necessary for success in any venture, including academics. Achieving academic success is something that many individuals consider to be a challenging task. Some people even think that it might be too difficult to worry even about trying to achieve it. While attempting to reach your goal in obtaining academic success, you must meet your university’s expectations and guidelines to reach your goal of being awarded a degree. If you want to thrive in school, you have to be willing to work hard and make sacrifices. The same initiative will also be needed to be successful in whatever career path you choose for yourself. Young people continue to work hard to get good grades in high school in order for them to get accepted and enter a college. Getting good grades throughout high school is not the only thing to be worried about; they must also begin to think about the ways of coming up with money to afford their education. Education is the building block to all success stories. Setting goals and high expectations can be achieved through pursuing an educational path.

Academics have pushed me through life unlike I would have ever thought. Every day, I try to impress myself and, although some days I fall just short, I usually end up making myself proud in one way or another. A phrase I repeat to myself frequently is "you learn something new every day". This phrase means a lot to me, as learning something new every day makes me a better individual. My goal in life is to use academics to the best of my ability and to never suffice for anything less than greatness, and I hope to enhance this goal in college.

During my time at school I never wanted to be just an average student who took easy classes and laid back not applying or challenging themselves to do better. Academics is something that I always strive to challenge myself in, whether it be through an honors course or an AP course, the difficulty and challenge that the classes bring motivated me as a student to want to accomplish more.

Life as a university student can be tough, but to make sure you get your money and times worth out of it you need to know how to be a successful student. Being a successful student requires a combination of attending your classes, doing your homework, and monitoring your level of stress. This may not sound too hard, but once you are in the moment and need to juggle all of these things along with all of the other responsibilities and challenges life entails it may begin to seem like a much more difficult task.

All people can be good successful students, if they try hard and use self discipline to push them self harder. Being a successful student doesn't mean you are so smart you get to skip grades, it just means that you get good marks, work well with others, and don't get held back any grades. If you are a person who wants to keep your life on track, it takes hard work, determination, and patience.

Academic Achievers are able to demonstrate integrity and competence in their academics. These individuals are also able to assess, interpret, and apply the information gained through various mediums including technology. They are able to work independently and collaboratively. An Academic Achiever to me, is someone who has good writing, reading, and speaking skills.
