Lincoln(2013) This movie was great because It shows how Abraham Lincoln wants to end the Civil War and abolish slavery through the 13th Amendment of the Constitution. Abraham Lincoln forces the nation to do good things and stop the slavery. Abraham Lincoln's main task was to stop all of the violence and have a peaceful nation. Also, Lincoln believed in the 13rd Amendment of the Constitution, which states to abolish slavery(Constitution). Also, the ending part of the movie was really sad because It shows how he got assassinated. This movie connects to the class because we were also talking about the Civil War and how It ended. Also, It connects to the class because how we talked about everyone started to have freedom with the 13, 14, and 15

The main reason Abraham Lincoln was called "The Great Emancipator" was on the grounds that he marked the Emancipation Proclamation. Other than that he didn't need anything to do with the slaves. As indicated by Mackubin Owens (2004) it should make every one of the slaves free however it just liberated slaves where the concentrated had no force. It neglected to apply the slaves inside of the dependable slave states or in those components of the Confederacy underneath Union administration. American History taught me many things that I use and plan to use of a daily basis. It taught me that I should listen to everything in history and learn from it. Like most people, our views on how things should be in life are molded after our personal experiences. This was not any different for President Lincoln. Since slavery was recognized institution in the United States during his presidency. Lincoln maintained a consistent personal view on the ethical dilemma surrounding slavery. Yet his political opinion changed overtime, nonetheless maintaining a consistent view for what would be in the best interest of the United States.
Slavery caused many violent events in the 17 and 1800’s. The South and the North could not agree with slavery; the North was anti-slavery and the South were pro-slavery. The south considered slaves to be their own personal property and the slaves were not allowed to be counted as a citizen of the United States; they were only considered to be counted as 3/5 of a person. Because slave owners were so harsh to their slaves, the slaves generated many slave rebellions and also conducted the Under Ground Railroad which took them to the north to be free if they could make it through it. The North and South also tried to solve the disagreement of slavery in the new Missouri by creating the Missouri Compromise, which stated that North of the 36-degree latitude line would be free of slavery, and South of the 30-degree latitude line would be slave areas. When more states started to come along, the disagreement worsened. During the popular sovereignty voting for each state for free or slave, southerners crossed the border to alter the votes and argued that slaves are their personal property and if they choose to move to one of the new states that is a free state, they should be able to bring their slaves with them. Throughout the years slavery continued to be a major argument, so Abraham Lincoln decided he needed to do something about it without breaking up the union; and that meant issuing an Emancipation Proclamation for Confederate States.
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States taking presidency in 1861, but he was looked down upon long before he took office. He was demonized as a “black republican” and pictured as an abolitionist during the 4-way campaign in 1860. He avoided adding fuel to the flames in 1860 campaign by refraining from making any policy pronouncements for the fear of misconstruction in both regions. Abraham Lincoln’s election as president in November 1860 finally pushed secessionists over the edge. Many southerners felt that his goal was to ignore states’ rights and remove their ability to own slaves.
In the mid-1800s, in the second Inaugural Address of Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln identified the civil war as religious war: it is a will of God. He stated, God “gives to both North and South this terrible war as the woe”; therefore, “with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in” (Lincoln). Opposite to Douglas ideas that slavery is natural, secular, and constitutional right, Lincoln asserted anti-slavery, linked to Evangelical Protestantism (Magagna). Against evolutionism, he appealed the religious morality, thoughts, and behaviors in order to demolish institutional slavery in the United States (Magagna). In his biblical terms, Lincoln justified the civil war as the providence of America, the punishment of the sin of slavery, and the promise of national redemption. That is, Lincoln asserted “no bargain with the South and Slavery” through the religious languages (Magagna).
Out of the first sixteenth president, Abraham Lincoln was the first president who created foundation about ending slaves in America via his Emancipation of Proclamation. Lincoln was also a strong supporter for Homestead Act and The Pacific Railway Act, which became an essential law for American economics. Furthermore, 13th Amendment was Lincoln top priority in legislation after he was reelected as the President. President Abraham Lincoln truly became one of the greatest presidents via these achievements.
The freedom of America’s slaves has always been accredited to Abraham Lincoln, but he was not always the complete abolitionist as he is commonly portrayed. The “house divided”, as Lincoln depicted it in his famous “House Divided” speech, of the United States during the Civil War was not always led towards the freedom of all mankind and there is sufficient evidence to support this claim. The sixteenth president of the United States is most commonly remembered for inducing the courage and determination to end the American Civil War with the Emancipation Proclamation although, when it is more closely studied, he did not cross the great divide of enslavement vs. freedom with the submittal of that fabled document. The American Civil War was the bloodiest war in American history, and the impact was felt on many levels. Various estimates put the deaths during the Civil War at between 600,000 and 700,000. The last figure is the result of better research of existing death records and casualty lists (Isenhour).
All though it was very dry at times, and could easily be classified as a uninteresting political movie about America’s most important historical moments, I enjoyed the film overall. Instead of focusing the movie on the life of Abraham Lincoln, it does focus on his passionate leadership in the final four months of his presidency. I soon began to sweat and clench my fists as the month of January continued in the movie, time crunching down and down as the Republican agents tried to gain more and more Democratic favor on the passing of the amendment. It felt like a fast-paced, parkour chase. I felt Lincoln wasn’t completely politically minded, constantly telling stories to many men and women who he comes in contact with, seeming humble and wise, always trying to give perspective with the moral of the story.
This company as interviewee said “are a full service advertising company”. It should mean that their company mainly job is to advertise, probably, other companies, to make sure that other companies have clients who buy their products. Thus, they have to create something very attractive that draw people’s attention. As a result, to create something good you need imagination, ideas also you have to know what people most like and how to draw their attention that they go and buy the thing which this company advertise and then try to do it in reality.
We have covered a total of 21 national health systems and have learned some unique systems on each of them. We have learned some fascinating things for example, Japan having the highest life expectancy than any other country at birth, or France being nominated the number health care system in 2000 by the World Health Organisation, or Has a universal system that is facing challenges from aging population and an increase in prevalence for behavior based conditions, but my favorite system was india! I was amazed by how far their system has come and how good they’re doing. Their system had success in the 20th century with communicable diseases, which has resulted in a population explosion which they are currently
