There are two types of filtration processes. One of them being gravimetric filtration and the other being vacuum filtration. Gravimetric Filtration is the type of filtration used to “remove solid impurities from an organic liquid.” This type of filtration can be performed by using a filter paper to remove solid impurities by folding the filter paper into a shape of a cone in half, and in half again.
