We always require managers that are forgiving. Our employees will mess up and by representing Christ we must forgive as we were forgiven of our sins. Our managers are held at a higher level and they are expected to act at a level higher as the rest of the employees. We are strict with following rules and laws as well as harassment and well not tolerate any kind. 3.3 Dress Code 1 Peter 3:3-4 says, “Do not let your adorning be external- the braiding of hair and the putting of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear- but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quite spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” God describes the dress code in the best way, our personalities should show our true character not our clothing. As Christians we need to stay modest and protect our brothers and sisters from stumbling. We do provide a set guide line for both male and female to follow. Females are required to wear blue or black jeans with no holes showing. As well as the the company shirt with either a black or white tank top underneath. Any shoes are expectable and it is a requirement to wear a name tag at all times while working. Men’s dress code is similar with only blue or black jeans with no holes. They must wear the company shirt and their name tag, as well as any shoes are acceptable. When the company is at an outing at a charity event present our donation the attire will be different and will be present and posted in
A. Semi-formal, as it sounds, is somewhat formal. This means that males should not wear their NMDs or v-neck shirts, and girls should not wear boyfriend sweaters or Roots sweatpants. For males, you should wear a proper light-coloured button-down dress shirt, dress pants, and dress shoes (medium browns to dark browns; stay away from black). Waistcoat and tie/bowtie are optional, and you may even wear a blazer. As for the ladies, you should wear the dress that makes you feel the best. With that being said, make sure you are comfortable with whatever you are wearing; do not wear anything that makes you overly self-conscious and insecure. As for footwear, simple flats to high
“The mere fact that I exist, means that I deserve to be here and to express myself any damn way I please.” said Euphoria Godsent when talking about the First Amendment. On December 15, 1791, our founding fathers accepted the First Amendment as a part of the constitution. Today, people twist the meaning of the First Amendment to form loopholes in situations, with one of the most guilty being public schools. Most kids go to school from a young age until they transition into adulthood where they also become their own boss, unlike their childhood. Teachers enforce a dress code telling the students what the school allows and denies students the right to wear, which acts as a great example of this. For the most part, students despise the dress code, for a plethora good reasons. What students decide to wear to school acts as a form of symbolic speech, which the First Amendment covers. However, schools claim that the teachers formed the dress code for the benefit of the students. So in the battle between teacher and student, everyone asks whether or not dress codes violate the student's First Amendment. Schools should get rid of dress codes because the way student's dress is a way to express themselves, dress codes can psychologically hurt students, and they violate the student's’ First Amendment.
We form first impressions and overall judgments about people by the way one dresses. In the workplace, depending on what industry or company it is, employee dress code can differ based on the situation. Those who work at a banking institution are generally required to dress in “suit and tie” or at least business casual. In such workplaces, it is often required to abide by strict policies such as having to cover up tattoos and piercings whilst at the workplace. The dress code is set because the appearance of an employee reflects the company and its values. Thus when dealing with the public, other employees and in all other business relationships, it is important to conduct oneself in a courteous and respectful manner, which also entails dressing appropriately.
What would I change in the dress code? Well I go to a middle school wear their strict on dress code I have nothing to wear anymore because of the dress code! If I could the dress code I would change the shorts and ripped jeans because not everything can be dress coded I get it that it shows our “thighs” but not everything does that’s why I wanna change it because not everything shows a lot. I wanna be be able to wear shorts to school and ripped jeans without getting in trouble so with ripped jeans we could wear spandex under them and not get in trouble for showing our legs or thighs. The shorts are gonna be short because their shorts I get that but some shorts aren’t we could do the same thing like we do with the ripped jeans wear spandex under it and if they ask just pull the spandex down and try to keep them down so it won’t show anything
Students all over the world are being bullied because of what they wear. Whether they wear the clothes to stand out or if it is related to their culture, bullies are going after them because they may look different than the average student. Dress codes are a great option for schools with reports of students being bullied because of what they wear. Dress codes are beneficial in schools by reducing bullying opportunities and promoting a more serious school atmosphere.
While I was being written up by a teacher for showing a portion of my shoulder and bra strap, the teacher greeted a male student whose pants were close to his knees, his bright green boxers showing.
The school principal at CHS should change the rule for dress code because most of us own out of dress code clothing and we have the most trouble with that one rule. The dress code rule is a major problem to us at CHS because us girls like to wear ripped jeans without leggings.
In a day and age, where sagging pants is in style for boys and the inseam on shorts for girls is only one to two-inches, clothing choices and appropriateness of attire in schools has become an increasingly popular debate. Public schools have implemented dress codes for many years and state the policies clearly in school handbooks for all students and parents to read and abide. But do they really enforce these policies? Due to the current fashions, dress code policies, which are less restrictive than uniform policies, are getting harder and harder to enforce. It would be a full time job to address all the issues with student violations of dress in todays’ schools. Needless to say, this is at the bottom of the list in issues to overcome. Public
Many companies, like financial firms and law offices, require a basic business attire dress code. For men, this normally consists of a simple suit and tie. While for women, a suit skirt, blouse and jacket are perfectly acceptable. In addition to clothing, a company’s dress code may require a clean-cut hair style
Should students have a dress code that they have to follow or should they be free to wear whatever they want to wear? There has been a great deal of studies and thoughts about this topic. Today some dress codes are getting way out of hand like for example, “Aniya Wolf, a student at Catholic high school Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg, PA, was kicked out of her own prom this past weekend for wearing a tuxedo”(The Huffington Post). This is just one example of hundreds more of why schools should not have a dress code.
Students have dress codes that they don’t like, so why don’t teachers also have dress codes? We should be treated equally. Yes, we are learning from them, and that’s exactly why. The issue is this, students have dress codes they must follow. Alternatively some schools have no rules for the teachers, so why don’t they? Teachers do need dress codes, because some of them don’t dress appropriately.
A written or more so unwritten rule, with regards to how a human being presents themselves in aspects of clothing, also referred to as dress code. Dress code is a matter of whether or not it is an acceptable social norm, which leads to the different rules among genders. Are women getting targeted at and shunned upon for supposedly distracting men? Are women being disciplined in the work field or at school for showing shoulders? This social problem leads to women’s education being jeopardized when the people in charge of the so-called ‘rules’ think it is the men who are the suspect? Sexism, it is a form of discrimination upon women for wearing what makes them feel comfortable not acceptable to wear. Women cannot wear tank tops or shoulder showing
Many companies have dress codes for their employees and Harrods is no exception. They have a company policy that all employees must wear a full face of makeup. Melanie Stark was fired from Harrods for not wearing makeup to work thus not following the dress code. Her firing is controversial because it brings up the question if companies should be able to force someone to wear makeup.
I do not think it’s too hard to follow a simple dress code. The reason I don’t think it’s too hard because the dress code has simple rules. The boys can wear shorts or pants and tee shirt or any other shirt. The girls can wear pants, skirt, or some shorts with a shirt. The clothes just can not show anything too revealing. The clothes also can not have anything inappropriate or gang related. I think a light dress code is better and easier than a uniform. The kids who refuse to follow the dress code can be given a uniform or be put in ISS or any other discipline program.
Dress code shouldn't matter you should be able to wear what you want to wear without anyone judging you or telling that you need to change people buy clothes to wear them not to be judge by or having to change in the middle of the day just because it’s ether showing to much or something that isn’t fair to anyone to not wear what they bought just because people think that it’s bad to wear in public and schools shouldn’t have dress code so people can be able to wear anything without the teachers making them change.
