The air turned black all around me, there was no one and nothing in sight. I was wandering in the desert in the dark all alone. Me and two of my friends Jeffrey and Taylor took a trip to Egypt to see the nile river and explore the desert. So we were enjoying our trip when out of nowhere a sandstorm brewed up, The storm being so hectic caused us to be separated from each other. So I am now lost and alone. Up till the storm the trip had been fun filled and stress relieving. I wonder if my friends have been separated from each other. So after I finished processing what has happened and realize i cannot stay where i'm at. I am exposed to all elements of the night and only have a water canteen and a pocket knife. Because of the night I can hardly see anything, except a small body of water. At this time I was very thirsty so I stayed at the water hole for about 30 minutes, fill up my canteen one more time then left. I started walking over the sandy hills somewhat frightened by the thought of dying alone in a desert. As I walked for what felt like an eternity, I started to become more and more hungry. I saw a snake slithering across a bed of rocks and grabbed a smaller rock and threw it at the snake, crushing its head. I cooked it over a fire I made from dry weeds and slept by the fire that night . So as the sun began to rise I started to walk some more and in the horizon I saw a big figure. I was unsure of how far away it was and didn’t know if it was a real or a mirage. In
It was very late and everyone was asleep, I lay on a cot in the middle of a room surrounded by lots of other cots with many other girls like me sleeping on them. I left the room, against rules, but that was the least of my problems. Instead of seeing the old stained wooden hallway in front of me I saw grass...long tall green grass and a few trees in the distance. I looked around me and to my surprise I must have only been a few inches tall. I looked up but instead of seeing my white ceiling I saw a gray sky. I was so confused and scared, I turned around to run straight back into my room, but there was only grass and trees behind me to. The door was gone there were no walls, I was not in Miss. Bridget's Home for Girls in New Jersey. I stood still for a moment pinching my self seeing if I was dreaming, but even if it was a dream it was not working. I stared walking slowly, everything was quiet, no animals, no people for that matter, nothing except for the
“Come on Louis, just tip your head back.” Niall hissed. The other omega groaned and began to splash at the dirty tub water. Liam looked over his shoulder and frowned. He could see that his own omega was becoming frustrated. Like expected Louis was being difficult. He was beginning to wish Ed had given him more medication to make him sleep longer, it would certainly make it easier to get things done. Even though Louis couldn’t walk well yet, refused to speak, and was still quite out of it he managed to still be sassy.
Victoria lay in the hospital bed and tried to keep the memories from flooding back. The demon was gone, along with its summoner who was killed in the attacks. I bask in the destruction as the symbols of the most powerful beings on Earth simply melt away. I shut my eyes and let the snow wash over my skin, arms outstretched. I open my eyes to Jensen chuckling. “What?” I ask.
The tip of the fluffy, light brown tail disappeared around the corner. I gave chase. My paws pounded on the hard ground, scattering pebbles, and the wind ruffling my fur made me feel like I was flying. I was gaining on it. If I could reach it before he reached the grove of trees…
On July 21st, a serious crime had happened. The town of Eastville will never be the same. The people, animals, and the town had completely changed, especially Penny. Penny will never be Penny ever again.
The bleak, white landscape appeared to continue on forever as Ada trudged up the mountain side. She had heard the gunshots pierce through the icy air and immediately began running towards their origin.
Excited to be visiting family in her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina Allie’s mother had stopped several times to talk to people she knew. She was now talking with the widow, Brandy Ingalls, who, along with her daughter Jeanette and Jeanette’s fiancé, a young merchant from England, had just come out of St. Michaels Church where Jeanette was due to marry the following day.
Mavis can hear shouting. She can tell it’s Ian because they have had plenty of yelling matches before, but instead of differing tastes in movies, Mavis can tell there is true contempt in his voice. Rattling her head, she can faintly see Leon collapsed on the other side of the room. Her heart tugs. She tries to talk to him, yet Ian’s voice drowns her out. Mavis wants to scream at Ian until she looks at him, and he his face isn’t twisted with anger, but fear. She follows his line of sight to a man that looks like he is what caused the gorge in the Grand Canyon by jumping down a little hard. The giant man is doing a pitiful job of ignoring Ian since his face is red and keeps glowering at Ian. Mavis uses the luck that The Forest gave her to encompass Ian with fortune. Her luck is noticeably weaker than normal, and Mavis understands that they were taken far from the school, and further from The Forest. She tries to move her hands, but they seem to be restrained. When she looks up, there are stars. Ian stops berating the man when a door opens to let in magnolias and councilwomen Morris. Mavis’s can’t comprehend the situation, but Ian seems to understand something because instead of yelling profanities he casts a spell that breaks whatever was holding his hands together. Mavis watches as Ian fends off physical attacks from the giant man and bolts of lightning from Morris that crackle the sky above and sends a blanket of shattered glass onto them. Ian isn’t attempting to be careful because Mavis is supporting him. He seems to know that by just moving around her luck will make him step away from the bombarding duo. Without Mavis noticing, Leon is standing and casting weaker spells than Ian. Morris easily paralyzes Leon, which gives Ian time to cast illegal spells that opens a glittering fissure in the room and that causes the giant man to bleed from his pores. Mavis feels her restraints burst from her wrists in flames. Ian is an amazing multitasker she notes. He is also at Leon’s side. Before Morris can summon another surge of strikes, Mavis tackles her. Ian takes the opportunity to toss Leon into the fissure. Mavis recognizes it as a portal now. She learned about illegal spells in school, and the portal takes the
Muffled sounds of shouts and bangs on furniture can be heard in the room at the end of the dimly lit hallway that is lined with bright photos of the same smiling family. A man swings open the door, turned back to a woman cowering away from him and shouted something that was clear in sound, but it didn’t sound like English in Harvey’s head. The man slammed the door, causing one of the frames to come loose from it’s perfectly hammered-in nail and crash on the clean wooden floor.

Lauren stood on a boat in the middle of a lake. Around her, the world was black, only illuminated by the moon and stars. There was no real reason why she was on the boat. It was almost as if she was supposed to be there, pulled pulled by the strings of fate to her exact location. Well, if nothing happened, at least the night was beautiful. She sat down, breathing a sigh and crossed her legs. How long was she prepared to wait? And for what? She glanced around the fragment of the lake she was facing.
“Laura Lioness Longface! You get down here this instant!” A voice shouted. “You are in deep, deep water this time!”
I sit through the boring lecture about amarras day. Im her echo, a backup. When she dies, I take her place. I'm like a carbon copy of her. Besides the little E tatooed on the back of my neck. Natalie, my “mentor” As scarlett calls her. She's talking away. She loves talking. She calls for a break because she can clearly see how bored I am. I go to our tiny kitchen and grab a snack. I'm not supposed to have a name, but scarlett gave me the name eva, Short for evangeline. When I was younger, I never understood why I had to read whatever amarra wrote or look at the pictures Natalie gives me of her life. By the things that amarra has written to me, She doesn't like and or want me. Shes always have said that I will never have what she has. Shes criticizes me all the time. Calling me a faker, a ghost. I'm glad I never have to meet her.
A story about an experience in my life that demonstrated my character or helped to shape it is when I got into a fight with an older kid. The day was a stormy day it was cold I only had a very thin sweater. It was raining and I was just sitting alone in the lunch room minding my own business. When l of a sudden I see a big figure walking towards me and he just took my lunch. I had no reaction because I was just too scared to. I wished my brother was still in the school to help me but he wasn't he was gone he was off to high school I was alone and I had to deal with the situation at hand. I was confused because no one has ever done anything like that. I was angry as soon as I went home I asked my brother what to do he said to fight him. That horror stuck with me through the whole night. I did not want go to school. I was not sure exactly how tall he was even though I knew he was much bigger than me. I did not even know what grade he was. But I did know his name Javier Alfredo.
