It was a nice spring morning where you could wake up to the sound of food being cooked and a conversation being had. It was one of those mornings where if one person woke up then another would wake 5-10 minutes later. This story is an interesting one as well as an old one, it involves an event that happened to me when I was young.
I woke up in the morning to the warmth of the sun shining on my skin it was peaceful for a little bit but then I heard several people talking downstairs, knowing my family it’s more loud than quiet. I got up from bed and walked to the window looking outside watching the flowers dance from side to side with glee, then I went downstairs to find eggs and bacon being cooked, my dogs were up walking around the kitchen, and I stayed there for some time enjoying my breakfast while talking with my family. After breakfast was over my mom went to the front yard and started to water her plants and flowers everything seemed to be ok in that moment, but then the front door was left open and the next thing I knew was my dog molly running outside of the house.
In that moment everything seemed to go by so fast, I was out the door running after molly and my mom was yelling after me, I don’t remember what she said but I ran across the street to the neighbor’s yard. I thought I could catch her there and bring her home but I was wrong, after several attempts to catch her she went down these wooden steps to the river, the steps looked old but I went down them anyway
There is a band of men, hitman, that are genetically modified to be the perfect killing machines. Time traveling hitmen are a special type of hitmen. They are called loopers. Their job is to strictly to kill and they are raised from children to do only this. People knew rumors of them, but no one had ever discovered one before.
I still remember sitting in that quiet room, my parents and sister by my sides. Me, laying on the bed with my sister and dad. My mom on the floor snuggling up to my dog Birch. And then he was laying there, motionless. The whole house was silent. The mixture of the rain and fog outside made it nearly impossible to look out the window into the woods. Nobody knew what to say. I knew this was coming, but I wasn’t prepared.
It’s 8:54 p.m. I hear keys and the door opening. I run down the stairs to the door and standing right in front of me is my mother. My mother had me up all night worrying about whether she was ok or not. My mom takes off her shoes and asks me to come sit on the couch with her. We sit down and my mom begins to speak.
“Come on Louis, just tip your head back.” Niall hissed. The other omega groaned and began to splash at the dirty tub water. Liam looked over his shoulder and frowned. He could see that his own omega was becoming frustrated. Like expected Louis was being difficult. He was beginning to wish Ed had given him more medication to make him sleep longer, it would certainly make it easier to get things done. Even though Louis couldn’t walk well yet, refused to speak, and was still quite out of it he managed to still be sassy.
Victoria lay in the hospital bed and tried to keep the memories from flooding back. The demon was gone, along with its summoner who was killed in the attacks. She felt an immense weight lifted off her. She was alive, against all odds. Because of Lorna, of all people. She’s put a stop the demon. As to why she was there in the first place was a mystery.
The tip of the fluffy, light brown tail disappeared around the corner. I gave chase. My paws pounded on the hard ground, scattering pebbles, and the wind ruffling my fur made me feel like I was flying. I was gaining on it. If I could reach it before he reached the grove of trees…
In the beginning, there was only darkness. For many years this darkness remained. There were no stars, no sun, and no earth. But one day something very special happened. The sun and a star were made. The Sun was called by the name of Fred and the star was referred to as Jacky. Fred and Jacky loved the space they had together for millions of years but this love did not last. Jacky became lonely and wished to find more stars like her. Fred was devastated to see her in so much distress. So he gave a strand of his sunlight to Jacky. Jacky was very thankful that Fred had done this. The strand of light Fred gave to jacky made thousands of stars. Both Jacky and Fred were very happy once again. Fred and Jacky started to drift apart. This upset Fred because he didn't have any other friends. Jacky didn't notice because she was too busy hanging out with her new friends. Fred became depressed and started to lose his light. One day a huge meteor came from out of nowhere. This huge meteor was named Terra. Terra was an oddball because she was very plain and was not as beautiful as the stars. The stars rejected Terra. Terra was really sad for a long time. Until one day she bumped into the sun. The sun had seen nothing like Terra in his life and he thought she was the most beautiful thing in the whole universe. Terra and Fred became really close friends and they both started to fall in love. Fred asked Terra if she would marry him. They had a love that filled the universe with light. Terra and Fred decided they wanted to have kids. Their plan for children brought them a big surprise. They had octuplets planets. These planets were much smaller than the stars and they worshipped their parents and revolved their life around their dad. Terra and Fred waited three more months until they had their ninth planet. This planet they named Earth and she was special. The other planets became jealous because the parents treated her with more delicacy and showered her with more love. Earth was bullied for a long time by her siblings. The Earth started to become extremely wary of her life and felt all alone. Fred and Terra decided they should help and gave her a friend. This new friend named Moon would become her eternal
Emerald sobbed as she dashed through the woods, tears streaking down her face in salty waterfalls. Dragging the hilt of her hand along her face, she slowed. Emerald ignored the throbbing pain in her feet from sprinting along the brush barefoot. She continued on through the forest soon reaching a road where on the other side was a drop, and about 70 feet down, was a small river, where she hoped her life would end, where all her pain would stop and become a distant thing of her past.
Who is my family? Where are they? Why did they leave me here? Why am I here? Does my fami-
“Nico!” Joe called out. It was getting pretty close to midnight and the boy was nowhere to be found.
My sister looks at me with boredom as I walk around. The house was basically empty with only us in the house since my parents were in a “car accident.” I walk upstairs throwing my body onto the bed, letting my eyes begin to get heavy, slowly drifting into sleep... I jolt up putting my hand on my head. It had seemed like somebody had shrieked out loud which made me wake up. I hear it again, a loud, painful shriek from downstairs.
The air turned black all around me, there was no one and nothing in sight. I was wandering in the desert in the dark all alone. Me and two of my friends Jeffrey and Taylor took a trip to Egypt to see the nile river and explore the desert. So we were enjoying our trip when out of nowhere a sandstorm brewed up, The storm being so hectic caused us to be separated from each other. So I am now lost and alone. Up till the storm the trip had been fun filled and stress relieving.
The wind is soft but strong, my hair flowing behind me and also in my face, I don’t bother to pull it back because I forgot my hair tie at home. “I could stay here forever,” I say to myself. I am at my favorite place to be when I need time to myself. I found this place when I was thirteen and have been coming back since then. It is on the very top of the highest hill there is in the camp and there is a beautiful old tree that has been there forever, I climb to the top and just stare.
I will be the best and only the best... I will crush my opponents. I will crush the competition. I will crush that ball. I am the Greatest of All Time. I am Josh Smith.
I lay on the wet cold floor. The chains around my ankles burned, I could see the blood mixing with the water. Freya was leaned up against the wall still asleep. How did I get here? We’ll get to that, let’s start with maybe a year ago. I was a normal 8th grader, decent grades, I lived in New York City on 5th street, my mother had died when I was four, I didn’t know why at the time ,but it wasn’t good. I lived with my Aunt Cara and her sister, Aunt Joanna. My father. Had left when I was born. Let’s make one thing clear I never asked for this. Never.
