Cam was a young and talented boy at the age of 18. He would have had his whole life ahead of him, if it wasn’t for the beautiful, redhead, with crystal blue eyes that made your heart stop. Her name was Hailey. That day he told himself she was his future. Five years later, in a small suburban home as ordinary as the next, lived a family of three. Cam, Hailey, and their 4 year old boy Mason Cole. Cam had the perfect life with a kind, adorable, and most importantly loving, wife. A job at a realtor business and an innocent son who loved him no matter how bad he messed up. Nothing ever went wrong. Everyday was exactly the same. He woke up, ate breakfast with his family, said goodbye, went to work, came home, and went to sleep. Except for the day that time stood still and in a moment all of his mistakes, regrets, and decisions flashed before his eyes. That day was December 1. That day after work he decided to go to the grocery store to buy a bottle of Jack Daniel whiskey. He wasn’t much of a drinker, but work had given him a lot of stress. When he got home, he had already drank the bottle and the smell of alcohol was on his breath. His wife Hailey had rushed into the dining room where Cam was sitting. She was screaming and crying while she mumbled something about how Mason was bleeding under her breath. Without a moment's hesitation he ran just like a superhero into the room where Mason was sitting in a pool of his own blood. He called 911, but no one came. Knowing he was intoxicated he got into the car and drove as fast as he could with mason and Hailey in the back seats. Cam drove like a maniac, a fast maniac and that was the biggest regret of his life. All he saw were two bright headlights coming right at him, and in a instant water slowly filled up the blue, little, convertible bug. In that moment his son’s life flashed before his eyes and then everything was slow. His eyes opened wide to see a hospital room and a frail women at the end of his bed. It was Hailey. Something was wrong he just knew it. Unable to move he simply asked where is Mason? However, unfortunately he already knew the answer to the dreadful question. He was in the last level of the hospital, the most morbid, scary, and dreadful place….. The
