Shadows twirling, twisting, enveloping it’s all I see they’re surrounding me, choking me it’s dark I can’t see anything not like anything was there in the first place. I try to speak but I hear nothing. But I see a glowing in the distance like a candle but this was different it was eyes glowing eyes not blinking just staring it made me uneasy and a little nauseous. these eyes piercing the fog, peering into my soul this formless being filling me with dread like i’ve never felt, it took a step I felt as though the ground shook and with each step I felt worse and worse like I was dying I screamed but yet again no sound but I did hear. “SORA!” Ever so faint but still there and again louder. “SORA!” That voice it’s so familiar who is it? “SORA!” The fog is fading the eyes have dissipated and with no warning I wake breathing heavily tears in my eye I see the worried face of a golden dragonborn staring down at me “ Oh thank god you’re awake” he said between panicked breaths
“Basalar? What happened?” I said still shook by what had just transpired
“you were screaming in your sleep it looked like you couldn't breath I was so worried. What was happening?” “I don’t know a nightmare I guess, but it just seemed so real.” “You mean a nightmare this might be serious you should ask Bora or Thasha about this they’re the more magical types and the last I saw Bora she was at the waterfall, but i’m not letting you go anywhere until I know you’re okay Sora I mean i’m your best friend it’s
"I 'm scared, I 'm so scared. I don 't know what is going to happen,"
“This isn’t just one dream. It gets worse night after night. I can’t take any more of this.”
“Then help me, teach me how to go into this dreamless sleep. I’m sorry that I appear so naïve to you but I haven’t been dead for very long. You’re the first spirit I’ve met, I’ve had no other opportunities to learn anything, trust me I don’t enjoy being kept in the dark.” Angela started off begging, but she quickly realized that she was more annoyed at Katherine’s tone.
“Shh, there now, go back to sleep. You’re safe now. That’s the important thing.” She tried to stay awake, sit back up, find out more, but she quickly drifted back into sleep.
While in that twilight state before waking up, she said, “I saw a bright man and he came to me from a very beautiful, dreamlike place.” He told me, “It isn’t time for you to die.” “Please, can’t I stay,” I asked. But he told me again, “You must return.” She woke up a short time later and didn’t know what to think about her experience.
He left the office and went straight to the bedroom. He was going to see if there was anything that he could change into, but he immediately just collapsed on the bed.
The light was shining on Evangeline's face as she opened her eyes. Her head was throbbing and as she looked around her, she didn't know where she was at. It wasn't until she saw Mason and Casey sleeping beside her on the pillows that she remembered everything. The dancing and food and the new hideout. The alcohol and the laughing. The bright light. The loud noises. Everything. The world has died back to normal, no longer having the sharp clarity it had the night before. Her mouth was really dry though, so she climbed down the ladder, trying not to wake the others. She quietly crept to the mini-fridge in the corner of the room and pulled out a glass of water. They didn't have any Tylenol, so this would have to do for now. She ungraciously chugged the bottle of water and sighed, plopping down on the nearest beanbag and closing her eyes.
All around me was darkness. Everywhere I looked, darkness. I heard nothing. But all of a sudden I heard my name. “Jacob, Jacob, JACOB!” I opened his eyes to find my brother shaking, and yelling at me. “What?” “Hi Jake!” He walks out of the room to go to the PlayBox. I looked at the ceiling to find the time, 8:51, and the date, August 10th 2035.
Oliver screamed as the searing pain spread from his neck. His blood vessels were on fire. As he exhausted himself fighting against the anguish he tried to push against the face buried in the fire of his neck. That pretty face. Her beautiful raven hair and porcelain white skin, now stained with red smears. She had been his friend at school for the last year and they had got quite close. Now she was gnawing on his sinewy neck like it was a melting ice cream. Blood was splashing all around him as he felt a cold surge come as the fire subsided. His body felt heavy and his mind clouded over as he slipped into what he thought was deaths very welcome embrace.
“Hurry! It’s this way,” The young woman called back to her two companions as they raced up the barren landscape, a dark red, stiff foliage layering over the white soil beneath their feet. “Just over this ridge!”
The sun bakes down across her shoulders as she trudges forward. With every kick, a bit of sand flies upward into Nix's eyes. Her arms burn with exertion and her legs scream with every single step she takes. There's nothing around her but a myriad of sand. Two backpacks are tied on her shoulders, but they feel like boulders, weighing her down. Nix grinds her bicuspids into powder, pure stubbornness giving her the strength to keep going. She wasn't going to die out here; she wouldn't give those monsters the satisfaction. So she kept walking, each step strengthening her spirit, yet draining her body. No matter what happened, she would continue.
Starring down toward the cracked wooden table, Ellen starts to cry. Knowing deep down that everything that has occurred is her fault. It's too late at this point, it's too far gone. As each tear tumbles down her powdered, rosy, cheeks she hugs herself tighter and tighter. This provides her with some sort of comfort, the kind of comfort she deprived her daughter of.
“MOLLY, MOLLY!” Molly smirked knowing this abuse wouldn't last long, she turned in her chair and faced Sydney.
We found him by the ice where I fell. We ran towards him eager to figure it out. Finally we reached him. He saw me and jumped up and hugged me.
that the unknown feeds off of fear. If it wasn’t for those small red lights sporadically posted to both exit signs I couldn’t see anything.
