he uploaders name is William Wilkinson, it may be his real name but it probably isn't because no one really writes their real name as a public username. This person has uploaded 21 videos on his channel, they are mostly funny videos that this person probably posted so he would get more views and subscribers (a try to get famous). This commercial is not trustworthy because it is not wendy's official youtube channel that posted this on the internet, and that it is a youtube channel that only posts comedy videos so he would get more famous. We can also see that it does not make much sense that the official Wendy's would make this commercial, of course they could do it, but the edit is not that great so if wendy's would have done it it would
Joey Franklin makes masterful use of rhetoric in his essay “Working at Wendy’s” to construct an entertaining and compelling argument in favor of recognizing that the workers of the service industry are not just undistinguished drones, but rather complicated people, each with their own desires and stories. To this end, the author utilizes the effective rhetorical device of pathos, logos, and ethos. Franklin demonstrates an excellent use of imagery that serves as a conduit for empathy, which is vital for the use of pathos, the emotional appeal. In reference to logos, the appeal to logic, he paints the picture of a hard-working father that needs to provide for his family. This is a clear representation of common logic and ties into ethos, which is the rhetorical appeal to authority and ethics, in the sense that many people can relate to caring about and working to support family. For ethos, he establishes himself as your everyday working man — part of the working class. This shows that he’s clearly apt for speaking of the position he’s in, and allows the audience to relate to him through pathos.
Have you ever been in a rush, low on cash, and looking for something to eat so you didn’t really have a choice but to grab a burger with fries at your local fast food place? Have you ever paused or stopped to think about where the burger really came from, or the process that went in to be made? The Food Inc documentary investigates and exposes the American industrial production of meat, grains, and vegetables. Robert Kenner the producer of the film makes allegations in this film and he explores how food industries are deliberately hiding how and where it is our food is coming from. He emphasizes that we should find out where our food comes from and why is it that the food industry does not want us to know. Food Inc. does not only uses compelling images, such as hundreds of baby chickens being raised in spaces where they do not see an inch of sunlight, it also includes the speeches and stories of farmers, families, government officials, and victims of the food industry. The four current problems facing today’s food industry are the reformed usage of the false advertisement within the labeling of products , mistreatment of farmed animals, and the harmful chemical in our meats. The documentary Food Inc uses very persuasive tactics that demonstrates strong elements of pathos, ethos, and logos make an effective appeal, while uncovering the dark side of the food industry.
Heinz has been the national brand for ketchup and all other sauces since the later part of the 1800’s. Even though they control most of the market, big companies like Heinz still do commercials so they can maintain their market share. With the main goal of the commercial being to maintain their market share, the second purpose of the commercial is to remind people that
Commercial advertisements create a strong presence in the media due to the power of persuading the audience to buy a certain project. The commercial is promoting the use of diet coke and using Taylor Swift to do so. Diet Coke is a sugar free, soft drink that is very popular, it is promoted and distributed worldwide by Coca- Cola. Coca- Cola spends nearly $3.499 billion in advertisements yearly (Investopedia, 2015, 1). This ad catches the eye of the audience with the use of Taylor Swift and the adorable kittens. In this commercial, it is clear that with every sip the pop-culture singer takes of the Diet Coke, more kittens seem to appear in the apartment until the whole apartment becomes invaded with the tiny kittens. This advertisement efficiently delivers the point to the audience during the commercial video by encouraging them to drink their product Diet Coke while trying to increase the consumption of their product, attract more viewers, and sell more of their product.
Another technique this commercial uses is what the camera focuses on. When the camera is focused on the mother’s back side from the mans’ point of view the creators are telling the audience what is really on the man’s mind, and why the son says don’t touch my mama. The creators do the same thing with the bowl of Doritos. The camera also zooms in on the game controller in the boy’s hand. Through putting the focus on the boy dropping the game controller, the creators lets the audience know that things have just gotten serious and that something is about to happen.
The commercial is trying to sell McDonald fast food by putting minions as the employees, by doing that they’re also giving advertisement for the minions movie.
The ad does a fantastic job of getting that point across by using this technique
On the other side of the argument when I think about women in advertisements typically the commercial revolves around their attractiveness. Food advertisements usually have attractive scantily clad women eating the food that the restaurant serves. “Go Daddy” is a website domain company. The name itself is interesting. Their Super Bowl commercials a couple of years ago were always notorious. They always featured barley clothed women doing very risqué things. It toed the line between being TV appropriate and being too much.
The models in the commercial are dressed the same for every new outfit. The only changes they make to each outfit are the props they have. The music the musician is playing never changes for any outfit. The Wendy's announcer thinks is that communist
There are so many choices and decisions to make that deflect our society today. Whether it’s robust or adverse, our society continues on to make these choices which leads to many effective citizens...especially when their health is involved.Take this for example, fast food restaurants are not only one of the massives addictions in the U.S. but one of the biggest mistakes people determined. However not only is it affecting their health, but many citizens are accusing their overweight on many fast food restaurants and McDonald's being one of the biggest accusation. Fast food restaurants aren’t the finger to point at for overweight complaints, since many people eat fast food instead of homemade food, is an individual choice.
Metaphors and symbolism are really relied on in this ad, most prominently the sandwich featured right in the front of the shot, is used as symbolism for a penis. Going so far to even announce that the sandwich is seven inches long, obviously a call to the insecurity of some males that their genitalia is not large enough for a partner, or the other way around, that a woman wants the largest penis in the bunch. A big metaphor in the text is the words “It’ll blow your mind away”, which obviously suggests, or hints at the idea or performance of oral sex, with the gaping mouth, red lipstick women, the seven inch sandwich, and the words, are not all just coincidences, oral sex is obviously what Burger King had in mind for this ad, and portraying the woman in the text like a sexual object is how they will achieve this message.
The commercial is based on people complaining about how their phone cant do what they want it to. It starts off with a girl asking why she cant buy a sandwich with her phone, then it cuts to a hipster trying to fit his phone in the pocket of his skinny jeans. The music slowly gets louder and more intense as the screen transitions to a scared guy trying to navigate through the woods at night. You hear a little bell as Wesley Snipes (the first celebrity) appears in the next frame riding an elliptical. He wants to know why his phone does not have enough memory to fit all his movies.
Stealing someone else’s name to impersonate them on a fake internet profile, such as a social media website, misrepresents a person’s identity and can damage their reputation. Tamsen Drake values her identity when it comes to her work as an artist. As an artist, Drake creates short animated films for her viewers. Drake has not created a social media profile to interact with other artists. Instead, she has a website, which only allows for the downloading of her artistic work.
The best you can say for this ad is that it is spirited and well-performed, casting Janelle Monae as lead dancer bopping through three settings of American music through the years. But it is also generic and oh-so-very-safe, leaving us feeling like we’ve seen this before. We sort of have: Pepsi years ago gave us Britney Spears singing through the
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4WTA_8waxTo involves a young lady, who walks through a market area. Half of the ad, and the way the ad was filmed indicates the young lady to be nude, except for brief periods, where certain body parts are replaced with different types of food such as tomatoes, melons etc… All the venders in the ad appear to be male, focusing the ad towards the male audience. The use of sex in this ad not only brings up the fact that the young lady is beautiful, but that is one good looking burger.
