Business Students,
Just as a helpful reminder of what you are supposed to be doing this week, I will outline what should be in your report.
1. BEFORE YOU START TYPING GO TO PURDUE OWL AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR DOCUMENT SET UP CORRECTLY!! There will be 100 points assigned to the format of the report alone!
2. When you are typing your report DO NOT use personal pronouns! No I, me, we, myself, us, them, and so on. This report should not be personal in any way.
3. Based on MLA format, you should have in-line citations for all your sources. I gave you three sources (the blue links) but you should have at least three or more sources you used above that. So in total you should have a minimum of six citations – but in order to get the

Make sure you are general – no specifics at this point.
Paragraph 2 – Explain the rational you used when you rated each problem. Another words, why was your number one problem a one and not a five. How did you determine the order of importance?
From this point you will start the main part of the report by addressing each of the six – ten issues. Follow this same pattern throughout all of the problems.
Paragraph 1 Problem – Name the problem and explain IN DETAIL why this is a problem.
Paragraph 2 Problem – Who is being impacted by this problem, the employer, employee, or both? How are they being impacted?
Paragraph 3 Problem – What is your solution to the problem – make sure you give a lot of DETAILS!!!
Paragraph 4 Problem – How will the employer be impacted? What are the positives and negatives of your solution? How will the employees be impacted? What are the positives and negatives of your solution?
You will repeat the four paragraphs above for all the problems/solutions you have identified. Once you have completed all six – ten problem/solutions, continue with the report as outlined below.
Paragraph 1 and 2 Conclusion – In the conclusion remind the reader about the reason for the report, what the problems were, how your solutions will help the company, and remind them of the possible positive and negative reactions to your suggested solutions.
Next you will have your citation page – MLA format.

Make sure the entire report is written in your own words and all sources have been cited.
