1. Two commonly used methods of financial analysis are payback and present value. Payback determines the length of time for an investment to return its original cost (1). Using the assumptions stated below the payback of the Jiminy Nick wind turbine with a cost of about $3.3 million would return the investment in about four years time. Net present value summarizes the initial cost of an investment, the estimated annual cash flows, and expected salvage value, taking into account the time value of money (1). The text "Divided Over Wind Turbines" by Maria Glod is discussing how the windmills should not be built because the low number of bats that are already left will die off due to the wind turbines. In the other text, "District Court Conclusion" by the court is how the decision was made in favor of the bats. Lastly in "The Indiana Bat Decision: a Dangerous Precedent for Alternative Energy?by Brandon Middleton discuss how this person feels about the court's decision was wrong because of the renewable energy source should not be turned down because of bats. The windmills farms are huge 389-foot windmills able to turn the Appalachian breezes into energy that can be used in daily life sounds easier than done because the case is where the wind turbines are placed happens to be where the Indiana bats hibernate in limestone caves within several miles of the wind farm. The concerns of the court decision are debatable due to the fact both arguments are a logical one for the bats and the other for the possibility of renewable energy.

We are facing an energy crisis on Earth. Burning fossil fuels are harming the atmosphere; this global warming and affects produces chemicals that hurt our body. People are starting to think about using alternative energy. Wind power would be our first choice, because it’s clean, inexhaustible and renewable. Today, wind power is mainly used in Europe. We believed wind power would be the main source of alternative energy for world use.

Wind Energy is a viable industry that has become a valuable energy source. The energy generated from wind is clean and efficient. The wind energy industry helps to ensure that electric demands are met, wildlife impact is minimal, the environment is not devastated, as well as creates new jobs during the construction of wind farms, daily operations, manufacturing components, and exporting components to foreign countries.

Founded in 1981, Wind Technologies (WT) has been a supplier of many different varieties of weather related radar and instrumentation. In 1986 the company focused its production on wind profiling radar systems that measure wind and atmospheric conditions. Wind power is a clean and renewable energy that, while at times unreliable, has very low upkeep cost and is growing at a rapid rate. While there is currently enough wind power to provide many times our current energy need, it is unfeasible in reality. Wind power utilizes the kinetic energy of air and uses it to power a generator to produce electricity. Even though dependence on wind power is impossible, it still can provide a strong, clean, quantity of power to supplement current energy production.
