Evans consistently demonstrated his abilities to foster relationships and portray the agency and himself in a positive manner. He achieves excellence in this goal by maintaining awareness, a positive demeanor, and command presence while on duty and / or view of the public. Additionally, He observes and reports suspicious activities in his work locations that can be enhanced in order to promote public trust.
To begin, I shall summarize the major issue regarding the case study shown on page 103, in the 7th edition book Titled, Effective Police Supervision, written by Harry More and Larry Miller in 2015. Sergeant Lou Maynard recently got promoted to the evening supervisor for the Craigview Police Department. Six months had then passed. While leading his team, Maynard came to the realization that two of his officers did not seem motivated as the rest of them were. The other officers, that were doing their jobs, started to complain about the two non-motivated officers. They began stating that the two officers did not their carry their weight when it came to the team. The two officers are noticed working as if they do not wish to be there and are just waiting to retire in the next year. They have even distanced themselves when it comes to socializing with fellow officers on duty and off.
Steven Evans will be one of the youngest President if elected. He was raised in Santa Barbara, California, then moved to Berkeley to study law. He was voted governor of California at age 36 and began running for Presidency at age 40. He is a regular donor to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital and World Vision. Evans is all about helping children and will go the extra mile to do what he can for them. To Evans, the children are the treasures of the world and our future. Because of that, he enjoy and will spend all his available time volunteering at his children’s school event to raise money. He also volunteers at Oakland Children’s hospital when time permits. His hard work and determination helped him become the man that he is today. Raised in a Christian family, and growing up in an underprivileged and poor neighborhood had made him a more compassionate person.
I believe with Sgt. Marler’s attitude and encouragement toward the investigators brings positive attitudes and pushes investigators to exceed in their job.
Tyreke Evans was once one of the NBA most promising players. He had a stellar rookie campaign and put up numbers that were amazing for someone who was supposed to be a sophomore in college. His rookie NBA season in Sacramento drew comparisons to LeBron James rookie season during the 03-04 season in Cleveland. Both players were their team primary ball handlers, and they both put up historic numbers for players in their rookie season. Evans averaged 20, 5, and 5 while James averaged 20.9, 5.9, assists, and 5.5 rebound during his rookie campaign. For someone who was poised to be one of the next great players injuries has taken a tole on his body, and his legacy.
Communication: Officer Nelson communicates well with his clients during interviews. He projects a calming effect to help them feel at ease. My case study comes from Organizational Behavior and Management in Law Enforcement Chapter 8. The case study involves Lieutenant Michael Parks who is a 19 year veteran of the Sparta Police Department. He is known as being easy-going and has the unique ability to build a positive rapport very quickly with most of the people that he encounters. He has also been described as having the demeanor of an empathetic elementary-school teacher. Under normal circumstances he is characterized as being the ideal mentor and coach to those around him.
“protect those that need protecting, perform the job with integrity, keep others information confidential unless the performance of duty or legal provision requires otherwise, use discretion based on reasonableness, never employ use of force unless in the defense of life, and behave in a manner that does not discredit the office in which they are employed” (Ethics and Law Enforcement, 2002).
Officer Oulton is seeking employment to expand his knowledge of DOC. While I would be giving up an Outstanding Officer if he would be selected for this position, I must say, such a valuable employee will be a greater asset to the facility in this position than on a shift. Officer Oulton would truly be a positive member of the team in as Acting Training/Standards Officer . Allow me to point out three examples of Officer Oulton’s strengths.
Officer Griffith continues to grow as an officer. In the past year he has grown his knowledge base through his continued, on the job learning and by taking on new challenges within the department. If Officer Griffith is unsure of a problem he will seek out an answer by researching it and by speaking with his peers and supervisors in finding a solution.
My name is Ben Evans, I was born in America in 1990, and have spent 18 years living there, I have a brother named James Evans, and my dad's name is Rick Evans, my mother's name is Lily Evans. We lived in a big house in America. We were rich when we're still living in America. My mother worked as a nurse in a hospital and my father worked as a police trafficor. When I was six years old, my mother and father died while they were driving home after a dance they went to. They crashed into a tree. Since that day, I lived with my grandparents untill I was 18 years old. That time I finished my studies and went to Los Santos. After 4 years, my cousin Nick Lesaro, came to Los Santos because he ran away from his house. We lived together in a room at
Normative Resources: Good-Times… The Evans family is a great example of normative resources. They are considered to be a traditional family who parents are married providing support and stability. Their values of their household is straight forward and if someone disobey them they are punished. They made it clear that family should function properly by having the father working and the mother staying at home. They taught their daughter Thelma this same behavior. The power lies with the man and the mother is his backbone.
The famous photographer Walter Evans depiction of life and the people during the Great Depression of the 1930’s is isolated, vulnerable, and depressing. The image of Bud and his family portrays them to be isolated by squishing all six of them into one room. The small squared picture frame shows that even though they are alone, they still value family. An example of vulnerable would be one of the child’s shirt doesn’t even fit correctly. All of them are not wearing any shoes. The grandmother is the only one who is wearing shoes, which could mean she is he only one that could get a pair. Their house gives off a filthy vibe, which shows that money is very scarce, and they do not have the necessary home supplies to clean the house. None of the
