Rikki Tikki Tavi was a very brave soul, but he made some wrong decisions that made him act disrespectful. The snakes, Nag and Nagaina, caused a lot of disturbance that set Rikki off and made him act like he did. Rikki Tikki Tavi was a loyal upstanding character, but sometimes he acted in a very disrespectful manner. Rikki was a very disrespectful mongoose. Chuchundra, the musk-rat, was so scared to come out to the middle of the room because Rikki always threaten to bite him.

Rikki-Tikki was found in the dirt by the father and the son, they fed him and then made friends with him. He kills three snakes. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, killed a Karait and two Black Cobras, Nag, and Nagina. He kills the Karait when they were in the garden. He kills a Black Cobras in the snake's hole. He kiles another Black Cobra when he was on his nightly walk around the house. when they were in the bathroom. The mother said,” He’s saved our lives’ and Teddy's life, he’s saved all of our lives”

A hero is a bright light in a dark place that stands on the darkness, they are a spec of hope in place that is full of misery. By basic definition a hero is a person that is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, and their noble qualities. Two people may have earned such title are Odysseus, from Homer’s book The Odyssey and by Brandon Mull character Jason Walker. While Odysseus may be a awesome hero, it is clear that Jason Walker is more deserving of that title.

Since Rikki just saved a whole family and saved a whole generation of people he should have a right to be proud. If Rikki had not saved the family, the snakes would have killed more innocent people and/or animals. Not only did Rikki save just one family of three, but he also saved many other lives too. Heroes, to many people, are those who make peace and correct error. People view heroes as making things peaceful by saving others, or things, in a non-harmful way. Society also believe that heroes have to have some sort of supernatural power, or be human, in order to demolish evil. Despite the commonly accepted views, in some situations, a hero can only make peace by disrupting peace. They also do not have to be extraordinary, supernatural, or human. Rikki Tikki Tavi should be considered a hero because he saves many innocent lives and silences evil.

A hero is someone that is not selfish, cares for others besides himself, and does things that are really brave. A hero is a person who is admired and idealized for courage. A hero would be someone that fights for a cause. Heroes are people who rescue others, or people that do something that is really brave. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally are heroes in the book “The Outsiders.”There are many reasons why Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally are heroes.

Heroes are people that risk their own life to save others or themselves from an attacker. Connie in the short story, “Where are You Going, Where Have You Been?’, has a family and one day she was home alone and a guy named Arnold shows up and starts talking to her about her family and she becomes freaked out and scared by it. Arnold’s friends show up and won’t leave her sight until she leaves with him at the end. Connie calmly said to Arnold’s friends “No, I have better things to do (Oats 7) so nothing would turn out worse than it already was. Connie noticed that something was up with Arnold’s friends showing up at her house because they knew what her parents were doing and also knew where they were at as well.

A hero is someone who stands up for what they think is right, serves and protects people, and shows respect for everyone. The novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a story about Maycomb, Alabama, a small town where most people are prejudiced and racist. An innocent black man is accused of raping a white woman, and only a couple of people believe he did not do it. He is sentenced to death, but a few more people are awakened to how wrong prejudice is. Atticus Finch, Tom Robinson, and Boo Radley are just a few heroes in To Kill a Mockingbird, and they are heroes because they respect and care for others and stand up for what they think is right.

A hero is one of many people. From firefighters to comic superheros, heros can be anything of anyone’s imagination. For instance such as Johnny from the outsiders, he was just a typical average teenager until he saved thouse kids. That is being a hero, taking action when it’s needed.

              Unlike many other characters a Rikki was brave.  Darzee just hides from the snakes. Chuchundra hides during the day, and comes out at night to avoid danger. Rikki was new to the garden unlike some of the other animals. Rikki showed his bravery when he fought Krait to save teddy, even thought he was new to the garden.

Some may believe a hero is a person who fights evil and saves people. In reality, it is more than than that. A hero is someone who fights for what they believe in, they are courageous, fight for the greater good, and above all, would sacrifice their life to save the lives of many. For example, in The Odyssey, a hotshot is shown in the life of Odysseus. While many believe Odysseus was a great figure and leader, he was far from that. He failed his crew, and for one reason only, he was not the chieftain his men needed.
