Are you a proud American? Do you know the bad events that happened in our country in the last 30-40 years? But the worst event of all, was the terrorist attack from al-Qaeda on the World Trade Centers in New York, and the Pentagon in D.C. on September 11, 2001, otherwise known as 9/11. People were always blaming the terrorist and people in the Middle East for this tragic event, but evidence has shown that it wasn’t just the terrorist. The 9/11 attack was a wrongful doing, yes, and it was all the governments fault. It was just another average and ordinary day in New York. The birds were flying, the air was turning cold from the transition from Summer to Fall, and it was just another day in the office. But, at around 8:45, the North Tower
Everyday millions of people, more specifically U.S. citizens trust and rely on their government to make the right decisions in order to keep them safe. On September 11th, 2001, the U.S. government betrayed their citizens by letting and also taking part in the worst attack to ever happen on our soil. Our government betrayed us that day and our former President George Bush and many other government officials had prior knowledge and even were a part of the 9/11 “terrorist” attacks.
On September 11, 2001, there was a terrorist attack against the United States. Hijackers flew a jetliner into each of New York’s World Trade Center towers. Simultaneously, a third jetliner crashed into the Pentagon in Virginia. Due to these horrific events, thousands of people were killed. In response to the attacks, the United States declared a “War on Terror.” However, the actions of the U.S. did not come without criticisms from the people of the nation.

On the morning of September 11, 2001 life as we know it in America changed forever. 19 men from a Muslim extremist organization known as al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes with the intent of killing thousands of Americans. Three of the four airplanes hit their targets, the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, the last plane was crashed into a field in rural Pennsylvania after the passengers tried to regain control. These attacks killed almost 3,000 people, injured over 6,000 others, and caused at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage. The man behind these attacks was a Saudi Arabian man named Osama bin Laden. These attacks caused mass panic throughout the world, but it also increased patriotism throughout the United States. It also is what got us into the Global War on Terror.
On September 9, 2015, America looked back in time to September 9, 2001. 9-11 was the day that changed America forever. Two high jacked commercial airplanes crashed into the Twin TOWERS OF THE World Trade Center in New York City. Over 3,000 people were killed with many others injured and hundreds of first responders killed. Another airplane crashed into the Pentagon while in Pennsylvania a fourth airplane was brought down by brave passengers that refused to let the hijackers slam into Washington, D.C. The citizens of the United States were scared, confused, and angry all at the same time. This was the first attack by foreigners on American soil but not the first time that Americans were afraid of events that started in Europe and Eastern Europe but was brought to America, The American citizens did not take kindly to “foreigners” tell us what to do or how to live. They certainly did not want to change the American way of life.
The day 9/11, was ranked the most audacious attack in American history, because of the tragic bombing that occurred, the hijackers rammed jetliners into the world trade center in new york, and the pentagon in virginia, this left a storm of ashes, smoke and fallen victims. I believe that the american response to this attack is not good because of the steps they took to handle the situation, like attacking states that may harbor these people, or by doing unreasonable search on people that may be clean on all the searches, and to just pick a random person to get cuffed for no reason is a bit harsh.
On September 11, 2001, the terror attacks that struck upon the American people etched a wound so deep that will take years to repair. The whole world watched and mourned as 2,977 innocent lives were taken mercilessly away by the clutches of vile people. The group responsible for these attacks had malicious intent and animosity toward the people of the free world. They took their accumulated hatred and attacked the American people. The way the American people responded was not what the terrorist group had expected.Instead of cowering in fear from the attacks as presumed, the American people began to display more patriotism and exhibit a sense of unity. While 9/11 is a day we remember the innocent lives lost to terrorism and the new sense of togetherness it founded, it is also a day that birth the term Islamophobia and gave rise to mistaken-identity hate crimes.

Over 3,000 people were killed in these attacks, making it the largest terrorist attack in US history. As soon as these attacks occurred, US citizens concerned and feared for their safety, and questioned President Bush’s leadership. There were people who believed in Bush’s leadership, and there were people who blamed Bush for the attacks of 9/11.

The most well-known attack is when two commercial airline planes crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City. Many innocent lives were lost and families were torn apart. While many Americans were determined to show their resilience towards the attacks, this is a day many Americans will never forget. Although the attacks happened sixteen years ago, Americans are still dealing with the impacts these attacks have had on life in America. The 9/11 attacks have had several long-lasting effects on everyday life in America, some of which include an increase in airport security, a change in national security, and an increase the fear of terrorism.
In the aftermath of the worst terrorist attacks in American history, the September attacks of the world Trade Center in 2001, Americans are obligated to look at the mistakes that were made before and after the attacks, especially in recent lite of increased acts of terror globally. A critical mistake made before the attacks was the neglection of terrorism as a top priority in President George W. Bush’s administration. And after the attacks, inaction would also have been viewed negatively by the public, and so the government acted swiftly in retaliation to the attacks, resulting in the death of many brave American soldiers and a huge cost to the American taxpayer.
When the citizens of the United States went to bed on September 10th, 2001 they had no idea that the events the next day would change their lives in one way or another for the rest of their lives. September 11th began just like any other day but by the end of the day, almost 3,000 people died in four separate deliberate terrorist attacks against the United States. The events on September 11th had shocked the world, caused billions of dollars in damages and made Americans question their sense of security. The attacks on September 11th, conducted by the Islamic extremist group, al-Qaeda, was an important event in United States history because it was the deadliest and biggest terrorist attack on American soil and caused extensive death and destruction
The attacks on the Twin Towers and Pentagon on September 11, 2001 is something that, Americans will never forget. It is hard to believe that this happened, but America has improved many things, such as security, because of 9/11. The American psyche changed for the better because of this event. Americans today, look back, and are saddened, but little do they know, how much change their psyche has gone through. The United States paid a large toll after this horrific event, but got through it with time. No one is grateful for 9/11, but without it, America would not have improved its security or terrorist tracking along with many other things. Although 9/11 is not something to be happy about, the change in the American psyche is something to be grateful for because a country’s people need to be exposed to the reality that not everything is perfect nor is everyone always

Now, before jumping to the automatic assumption that the 9/11 commision report is completely honest and accurate, please continue reading this essay with an open mind as I shed light on the fact that United States government was actually behind the whole thing.
September 11h of 2001 was the most terrifying and memorable day for Americans. This event shook the world because nobody would have ever expected these atrocious actions that happen that day. Two of those four planes crashed into the north and south tower called “The Twin Towers” located in New York. The remaining planes had two other goals. One of those planes crashed into the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense) located in Arlington, Virginia. The final plane failed to crash into the White House because the passengers overcame the hijackers and made the plane crash into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. More than 2000 people died and 6000 thousand were injured. The events on September 11 made Americans hate the Islamic culture, causing the U.S. government to impose stricter requirements for immigration and making them fortify their defenses against terrorist groups
