In 6th grade we went on a class fieldtrip. A got lost. It was the last day of 6th grade and we were going to Nickelodeon Universe as a class. I had some friends that I intended to hang out with. They were Cayden and Riley. We had fun for a few hours going on rides and eating junk food. We spent like an hour in the candy store looking at Peeps. When I decided to get mini donuts for us all, I could not find anyone when I got them. Then I got lost looking for them.
I walked around for awhile eating mini donuts every now and then. I felt completely alone in a place surrounded by strangers. My friends found me and we got together and ate the mini donuts. They were looking for me too. They decided to go up higher and spotted me wandering
The call of May16 began from a high school website known as “idunno.org,” a page that primarily updates the school board and calendar of Dunno High School, where students were informed that there will be no late start on Wednesday, May 16. Every Wednesday, there is a late start which pushes the schools starting bell from 7:50 a.m. to 8:58 a.m., allowing students to sleep well and have more time for themselves in the morning. After hearing the news, the students of Dunno High School created the facebook page “Students of Wednesday” to protest against the school’s dismissal for late start.
Eighth grade and ninth grade are nothing alike. They are not alike because in eighth grade the eighth graders are the oldest students there. It is also different because since they are the oldest they get the most respect. In ninth grade the ninth graders are the youngest and get the least respect. In ninth grade or freshman year the students are new to the school and you don't really know anyone but your friends. To get through your first year as a freshman you must make a lot of friends and have good relationships with all your friends. Something that can help make you many friends is joining clubs or teams.Another way to get through freshman year is by helping other students on homework and classwork. If you are done with classwork
Before the 6th grade, I really enjoyed math and I believed I was even good at it. Then to add to my excitement about math, I made a perfect score on my 6th grade Taks test. However, the next year (my 7th grade year) my teacher was a new teacher and you could tell she was struggling. She was a very nice teacher, and I loved her so much, I just struggled to understand what she was teaching. The next year, I transferred to a new school. Here, the teachers were not certified but they tried to help with everything they possibly could; however, their ability to help us was pretty limited. At my new school, we did all of our work on computers for half of the day and attended college classes at Panola and TSTC the rest of day. While I truly loved this
Thank you for substituting for me today. Attached is my homeroom list. Please take attendance and send it down to the main office with a student after homeroom.
There is an issue here in the U.S to most people. You may or may not be having this issue and you may or may not agree with this issue. But, there is a problem with school times. Some students are going to school too early, and this can lead to some issues. Students will have worse health and have worse academics if school times are early in the morning.
Hi, I'm going to show you how to be a perfect 6th grader. This is an easy thing to do. We are going to tell how. So, let's get started. You should read this before you go to school and read this earlier.
Then we were on our way to Kansas City. My friends and i were talk about how excited we were. Then we all got our phones out and our headphones out and we all listen to music the whole way there. They both fell asleep so i grabbed a marker and drew all over their face and when they woke up I told them if they want to take a picture together and they said sure. So I took the picture and then showed them,
It is a very obvious fact that some students decide to drop out. But many people think it’s because they’re not doing their work, although that is the partial reason they don’t know when this starts. Freshmen year is essential in deciding whether a student drops out or stays in school to graduate. In this Essay I will be giving some examples of why Ninth Grade is the most important year of High School and how it will affect their future
These are my plans to succeed in the rest of the 8th grade school year.
If Middle Football is Going to Last People Need to Get Their Head in the Game.
A time in my life when something bad turned out to be good was the middle of eighth grade when i wasn’t do well in my classes. This situation was bad because my grades weren’t good, and I wasnt doing the homework. One day in class , the teacher gave me a note from the office that said the principal wanted to talk to me. When I got to his office he was telling me that my grades were really low and I had to attend the after school program for forty days if I wanted to walk the stage for eighth grade promotion. From that day on I realized how important it was to be doing my homework if I wanted to succeed in school. After like a month my grades started to improve to B’s and it made me so proud of myself. It made me proud because, I was able to
The age of nine or ten is when I realized that I wasn't like the kids around me. I did not have people to call mother or father , no one to come to parent teacher conferences. Not having anyone to draw the family photos of, it was just me and my sister. Remembering being all alone walking down those too long and too big halls filled with too many people. Everyday as a Nobody Girl with clothes too big from the local Goodwill was shoved pushed aside or tripped and as I get up I put on a brave face for my sister. She was everything to me. Having to be brave for her, to her I was mother and father , not sister. Getting home from a too long of a day for a ten year old, and had to deal with an emotionally abusive guardian, and a depressed guardian
Bullying in Middle School in Revere, Massachusetts. Bullying on school ground is a big problem here in Revere. Middle school students have been reporting to parents and teachers that their are bullies who are their main concerns. They would be physcially and verbally attacking them any way possible. To avoid any causes that may affect bullying victims, we should solve the issue by having a plan laid out for bullies kids. If the problems are not going to be fixed students can be at risk. Their lives can be in danger. How can we address and fixed this situation to save kids who are getting bully in school. What can we do to protect students from bullies.
Life as a middle school student will be totally different from the high school life. These are two different things and way more things will be expected from each and every student now that we are in high school. It will not be as easy as middle school was because when coming to the high school students will have to face hard challenges that might throw them off because they are not use to it. After a couple of week of experiencing high school it will start to get a little easier. Do not to expect high school to go by easy as middle school. If my word could get to the upcoming 8th graders about life at Spartanburg High School I would warn them about academics, sports, and friendships.
Again, I was that silent kid. I took speech classes because I couldn’t pronounce my R's. Mrs. Christensen was my teacher. She was the best because she was funny, kind, and helpful. She helped me get into C.M.L and G.A.T.E.S again. She also helped me enjoy math and science enormously. C.M.L was really fun. In C.M.L, we celebrated Pi day by eating pies, and on the last day of C.M.L, I ate pizza and cupcakes. I remember that my best friend, Katelyn, and I would always swing on the swings every single day. I said, “I’m bored.” Katelyn replied, “Well, you can play with me.” That was how Katelyn and I met. She understands me better than any other person. My favorite field trips were going to Crystal Cave, the Bakken Museum, and on a boat with our kindergarten buddies, which were super fun. I hoped 5th grade could top 4th
