1 The Psychological Theory Assignment 2: The Psychological Theory Sherry Zhou September 08, 2022 CCJS 100: Introduction to Criminal Justice Professor Brenda Barney 1. Choose a theoretical perspective. Sociological
2 The Psychological Theory 2.  Provide 10 images that depict the chosen theory without written explanation.
3 The Psychological Theory 3. Provide a one paragraph statement of the theory, what kinds of behavior it explains and how it is depicted through the images. The sociological theory of a crime is mainly define when a person sadly live in an environment where there are social groups and surroundings have a higher crime rate and criminal behavior. Such behaviors can be developed within their friend/peer groups, their surroundings, and even within their own family. Through the images I selected, it shows that a person especially a teenage can be easily influenced to commit such behavior through peer pressure. When it comes to teenagers getting influenced, most of the time they are convinced by a juvenile because they are convinced the act they are about to commit is “cool.” Adults being influenced is a different story. There are cases I have seen where an adult will help another person during a crime such as assault or murder because they are easily influenced as well, but they also believe they are helping the suspect and think they are able to get away with it.
