ORLDVIEW
Through this essay we will dissect the Biblical worldview. By analyzing and then reflecting on it, we may also implement our worldview in everyday life.
Biblical worldview is a way of life and thinking that is developed around the Bible. The Word of
God is the foundation of Biblical worldview. A student can develop their worldview by using their resources to study it and question it. Outside of the classroom, you can develop your Biblical worldview by practicing Christian liberty.
A follower of Christ follows a Biblical worldview and practices the teachings of God. My educational goal is to obtain a BSN, and my personal life goal is to be in a place when I die that I
can look back and be proud of the impact I left behind. A Biblical worldview effects those goals by putting me on the right path. For example, a major reason I transferred universities was because the Liberal mindset of the education I was getting went against everything I believed in, so I uprooted my life to be in a more positive environment. That same Christian worldview helped me select my chosen career as well, nursing, that allows me to “do good to all men” (Galatians 6:10).
According to Doctor Gnanakan at Liberty University, culture is “a way of life”. To effectively and productively work together with people from different cultures we must respect each other. Finding common ground and good in one another to develop that grace, trust, and respect is vital to our united goals. Having a biblical worldview inspires Christians through love and faith to work passionately for His prophesied second coming in Matthew 28. Utilizing that love and compassion for our faith each of our brothers is what will allow for effective outreach to others and bring the world closer to fulfillment of the Great Commission.
From the ground you stand on to the persons you walk past, someone decided to clear land to build that road and to protect an unborn child so one day you might pass them on that street. Worldviews guide morality, each leave an impact greater than a single foreseen consequence.
