a) Consider a scenario where an organization is looking to survey the performance of Internet connectivity across Pakistan. They can divide the entire country’s population into cities and select further towns with the availability of the internet.
b) The working approach of top managers in an organization is quite different from that of middle managers. If there are 60% top managers and 40% middle managers in this organization, and if a total of 30 people is to be interviewed to find the answer to the research question, then 18 top managers and 12 middle managers will be chosen for the collection of data through an interview, because these numbers represent 60% and 40% of the sample size.

of the accident. They initially collected the evidence and after making analysis and integrating the
facts some conclusions were drawn. Some recommendations were aligned after validation. However
in order to collect the evidence the official need to visit the site and the evidence after identification
must be preserved. Along with the evidence witness collection and interviewing those witnesses is
very important. And the integrated information is reviewed. Moreover, interviewing a witness needs
a proper place. The officials can provide a meeting room and let the witness explain the incident
details. Officials must ask some open ended questions that must ensure 5Ws (What, Where, Who,

Company ZYX is a small consulting organization with 40 employees. The manager who is responsible for employee performance appraisal has a particular way of conducting it. He has a firm belief that formal performance evaluations (with developed criteria, ratings, formal discussions etc.) are an absolute waste of time and should never be done. Instead, he thinks that he is well familiar with each employeeâs work and achievements, and he can easily tell âwhat they are worthâ by interacting with them and observing their performance on a daily basis. As a result, the manager periodically stops at employeesâ desks, talks to them, asks about their progress on projects and discusses other work-related issues. Employees have a lot of daily feedback and seem to like it. However, no written performance appraisal forms are ever filled in. When it comes to pay raises and promotion, the manager makes his decisions and announces them…

numeracy skills. This was composed of 80 items test which underwent validation by the mathematics experts such as master teachers, head teachers, etc. Moreover, in
order to establish not only the validity of the device but also the reliability, sophisticated item analysis was also conducted. Out of these 80 items, 50 good questions were
retained and became part of the device. The questions covered the following areas: Whole Numbers, Signed Numbers, Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages.
After establishing the device's validity and reliability, the…
