Xfinity Services: Xfinity offers digital cable television, broadband internet, telephone service, and home securit systems. Services include: Xfinity X1, Internet, TV, and Home. Market position: Xfinity holds a firm market position in the United States as one the leading cable and internet service providers. Revenue streams: Revenue comes from subscriptions for cable TV, internet, and phone services. Additional revenue is generated from advertising and home security services. Profitability: Xfinity has high fixed costs, but benefit substantially from economies of scale, allowing for high profitability. Peacock TV and Streaming Service Services: Peacock is a streaming service owned by Comcast that includes tv shows, movies, series, live sports, news, and original series. Peacock offers three different types of subscriptions: a free subscription with includes ads and a limited content selection, a $5 subscription that allows you access to all content but still contains ads, and then a $10 premium plan that removes all ads. As of 2023, Peacock had 30 million subscribers. Revenue: Their revenue as of October 2023 was $830 million, which was a 64% increase from previous year.
