Task 1: Management Communications
From: Subject: Successfully Launching a New Product
Good afternoon Inspired Staff!
We will be adding a new product to our already outstanding product line, which I am delighted to announce. In the past month, we acquired a company called Metro One that was similar to ours. My interest in Kamelon stemmed from analyzing their most successful products. We have seen great success with Kamelon in the past, and I am sure this product will help us reach our full potential! Detailed information on the official improvement process will be provided next Monday, but I will take any ideas and concerns tomorrow in writing.
Our company will benefit from two significant advantages that Kamelon has. An important advantage of Kamelon is that it has been extensively researched and proven to be successful. Statistics show that 90% of those who tried Kamelon lost at least 15 pounds in a healthy and opportune manner. This study's most significant outcome was the fact that 80% of consumers were able to sustain their weight loss after using the product. As a result, we will be able to motivate our existing customers to try our new product, which will benefit our company. The more satisfied our existing customers are, the more likely they will leave positive reviews for us. Our company will be able to sell more products if we attract more customers, and this will
benefit us in route to becoming one of the best weight loss companies!
3
Task 1: Management Communications
There is always room for improvement in every great product. As a company, Kamelon has several disadvantages that might hinder our growth. In the first place, we should consider the
fact that we heavily rely on our external service provider, Synesthor Inc. The pill cases for Kamelon are produced by Synesthor Inc. Synesthor Inc. will have to produce 10,000 pill cases in
three months in order to meet our customer demand. Synesthor Inc. is situated in a different country, which causes our company concern. By working closely with this company, we can make sure that our product demand is met, and this will mitigate the potential problem. The second disadvantage of Kamelon is that 10% of the research partakers were ineffective. Some products are not successful for everyone, but we should show our respected customers that we care about their success by providing them with additional information that can help them lose weight. A user's failure to use the product correctly was proven to be the result of not following proper protocol. These disadvantages can be mitigated by implementing more rigorous criteria for participant selection so that only suitable participants are included in the study, thereby reducing the number of participants who drop out or are unsuccessful. Furthermore, consider alternatives, such as online surveys which may result in fewer unsuccessful participants. We must also inform our clients that this product will not work unless they also change their lifestyles (diet, exercise, etc.).
Our company will achieve its optimal level of success by adding this product to our product line, but it will take time and dedication. Thanks to our brilliant staff here at Inspired, I am confident that we will meet our production targets. I am looking forward to working with you
on our next project and thank you for all that you do for me!
V/R,

B. Informational Email to External Stakeholders
To: Inspired External Stakeholders
From: Subject: Successfully Launching a New Product (Kamelon)
Dear Inspired External Stakeholders,
It is my pleasure to inform you all of the upcoming launch of Kamelon, our new product. It was one month ago that Inspired acquired a company similar to Metro One. We found that Kamelon was effective and successful after examining their most successful products. As a result
of Kamelon, our company will be able to achieve its maximum success. Taking a moment to explain this product's effectiveness and how it can benefit our company is my goal.
Many of Kamelon's users have reported that it has not only been effective, but also helped them maintain their weight. Kamelon researchers found that 90 out of 100 participants lost at least 15 pounds after participating in the study. In the vast majority of cases where this product worked, people maintained their weight after losing weight. Consequently, I will work diligently with our suppliers to ensure that we can meet the demands of our customers as we
5
Task 1: Management Communications
predict a significant increase in demand for our product. By continuing to build upon this product, we will become one of the industry's leading weight loss companies.
While Kamelon will be a breakthrough for our company, we still need to develop different mitigation strategies and fix any current problems. The product was found to be ineffective for 10% of the 100 people who participated. In our day-to-day endeavors to mitigate this problem, our company discovered that those who complained that the product was ineffective did not consume the product according to the proper protocol. Changing one's diet and activity level is necessary for this product to be effective. To ensure that Kamelon consumers
have at least a 100% success rate, we are testing and improving this product constantly.
We are moving in the right direction here, and I'm confident that this is going to be a successful product! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns or suggestions.
V/R,
Production Manager

Need help answering the following question in a well written paragraph.
Two recommendations (based on the new product development process) that they should do before deciding to launch or not.
*article listed below
Sam and Micaela first met while studying marketing at San Juan College. Both were ambitious and had plans to run their own businesses. Over time they decided to start a business together. Initially they spent many months discussing what sort of business they should go into. They considered various service businesses, like consulting or an internet- based training offering. However, it was eventually an opportunity in the children’s toy market that appeared to have good potential.
They had observed that parents were becoming increasingly time-poor and, as a result, had
less time to spend with their children. And in order to compensate for this, the parents typically spent large amounts on their children to entertain them. Obvious examples were the success of PlayStations,…
