One potentially risky compliance issue for organizations is the "Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance." Non-
compliance can lead to legal consequences, disruption in productivity, employee dissatisfaction, and challenges in recordkeeping. It's crucial for organizations to be aware of and
manage FMLA regulations effectively to mitigate these risks.
Compliance issues can be quite complex and numerous. Therefore, it is crucial for employers to ensure that they are abiding by all relevant laws and regulations while structuring and implementing total rewards programs. In order to avoid any legal violations, it is recommended that experts be involved in the decision-making process and play a key role in creating administrative procedures for the organization (Commentary, 2023).
