My major is psychology and counseling I chose this major because I want others to do better in life and improve who they are. b. The type of career I would like to have is counseling while enrolled into SNHU I would like to understand my major more. c. To have my degree this will prove those who less encourage me that you can be somebody no matter what others say also, this would make my family friends and step children proud because I accomplish a big step. My personal statement is to succeed in all my courses to not give up and ask for assistance if need also, to be active with responding to my classmates and instructor. 2. Write three academic goals relating to your academic personal mission statement that are achievable in the next six months (short-term). Include how/why these goals will help you be successful in achieving your academic personal mission statement. a. Goal #1: Time management i. How/Why? I would need to be focused and make sure I submit all assignments and responses. b. Goal #2: Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA i. How/Why? Being able to have a set schedule and to read all assignments thoroughly that is required for the course. c. Goal #3: Graduate i. How/Why? However, I would need to complete all course assignments pass all courses with an A or B to be able to receive my degree.
