Innovation in Technology is changing how health administrators manage and support their patients; "computing power, internet, and wearable technologies are transforming surgical operations into model-based procedures" (Yamin, 2018). As a healthcare administrator in a long- term care setting, I must be aware and educate patients about using Technology to improve healthcare delivery and the quality of care. Thus, supporting my patients by leveraging current Technology is paramount, which would drive patients' hopes and motivations to adopt future technologies. While there is more than just one way to leverage current and future Technology, one of the ways is by implementing and educating consumers about the electronic health records (EHRs) that enable healthcare providers to access patient information in real-time, thus providing another healthcare professional to provide better-informed decisions and improved patient outcomes. Telemedicine is another technology that could be utilized to leverage Technology in the present and future as it provides significant health benefits and cost reduction to patients. Telemedicine can support patients in the comfort of the patient's homes, especially for those in remote areas with minimal access to brick-and-mortar healthcare buildings. Telemedicine enables healthcare providers to provide quality healthcare services to consumers virtually, thus allowing for remote healthcare consultation, diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatments. In addition to the listed technologies, healthcare administrators can leverage patient portals, healthcare applications, and fitness apps to help promote and empower patients to take charge of their health and get more involved in their healthcare while promoting healthy and active lifestyles with healthcare consumers. All the tools discussed enable patients to a more accessible healthcare and help patients track health habits and progress while providing accessible communication with providers,
