BHA-FPX4110 Assessment 2: Vila Health: Patient Flow
Introduction
The main goal of any healthcare facility is to provide high-quality healthcare services to people.
The medical facility must encourage and allow all healthcare workers to work together to reach
its goal. Several parts of Vila Health that have to do with unhappy customers will be examined,
as well as the most important way to fix the problem.
Why Patient Satisfaction is Essential in Healthcare Business
(Ng & Luk, 2019) One of the most important parts of a healthcare business is ensuring customers
are happy. People think judging a healthcare institution's service quality by how happy their
patients are is the correct way. Most of the time, the institution that improves patient happiness
has a bigger piece of the market and makes more money.
Performance Improvement Initiative
A performance improvement plan is a program in a care setting that tries to find and fix problems
with how healthcare is given (Siddiqui, 2022). This is done to make the patient's experience
better.
Using IMC principles as a guide, patient happiness is seen to be among the most important ways
to improve medical care. A high rate of patient happiness says that the health of the people in the
area is better.
Fishbone Diagram
A fishbone diagram is a visual layout that looks like the skeleton of a fish. It is used to show the
main causes of a problem and what the overall effects are. The right end of the image, which is
the result, shows the problem that needs to be solved (Coccia, 2018). On the branches that come
off the main part of the fishbone image, the causes of the problem are written down.
Purpose of a Performance Improvement Team
(Song & Tucker, 2016) The team comprises people who work for the company, managers,
teachers, and other leaders, such as bosses. Some people who must be at the school are doctors,
chemists, and nurse staff. These workers will ensure that the needed information from many pros
and departments is easy to find, making it easier to solve the problem at the facility.
