The advice and viewpoints of the subordinates are valued. But an autocratic style of leadership is that it may lead to low morale among the workforce and create more dependency. Therefore, democratic management style is better because it increases levels of dedication, commitment to the job, and engagement, leading to higher rates of employee retention, serves as a team-building facilitator and reduces workplace friction by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
