Case 1 ENG102 Daniela Hillis 3/27/2021 Impacts on Student Learning.
Observing that there are several variables that influence how students desire to learn in school. When it be improving or depriving of academic success there are several triggers that push this into effect. The problems that students are facing problems during activities such as sports and or their daily life routines in times of learning in their academic success. We can recognize that within today’s society students are taught how to cope with their education by relying solely on their teachers for help., When a student takes an exam regardless of if they pass or fail it still can impact the students. Lots of determination within the schools today have put fourth cause and effect relation towards learning in students today. Student’s academics success is measured based upon a students emotional and mental stability. When it comes to at home a parent entrusted in their students’ academic success and they begin to question whether their student is learning from their mistakes and gaining a successful education. When a student fail it really impacts their future, but surely enough if they pass their classes they will succeed in life. Factors that lay on the outside of school activated sometimes can steer the student in bad direction. The factor of interacting with family, brothers and sister and the students social well being can all impact the student. When a student has a bad day at home generally the student will bring the same attitude to class. For a student reach full success throughout their education, they must be responsive and interested in finishing school. They must see a big painted picture for them to really understand how important education really is. The first and for most significant factor that plays into the role of education performance is looking at the relationship between student and the teacher. A student must feel like they are important, in school we know there is much favoritism when it comes to kids, sometimes a teacher can have a favorite student and be labeled the teacher’s pet. Sometimes when a student is recognized, and a teacher is willing to assist the student in their endeavors she or he will start to
create a bond with that teacher. When a teacher likes one student more then another, they show favoritism. In whichever direction learning or not learning the student must show interest to receive help. In discussing favoritism this kind of factor can make education difficult for a student. When you have a faculty that is solely interested in on a few students and do not give the same respect or privileges to the other students is not always to teacher’s fault. The determination of whether how big the school is to blame. Sizer of the school covers a lot of ground when it comes to student favoritism. When there is 30 students a in one class and the teacher has several classes a day it becomes irritant, and the teacher cannot recognize of all the students. Overtime as the days pass the teacher starts to recognize more then just one student. Students who are not recognized loose interest in school because they are not getting the necessary help that is needed to continue. Loosing confidence or trust from the teacher and slowly do not want to continue working. In which it brings us back to the same question “Does that child really learn anything at school”? Secondly, we must look at how the students’ lives are at home with their parents. When you have a set of parents that are not paying close attention to their child or caring about their education you run into the problem were if the parent does not care for the child’s education because of their own pasts and do not really see an interest for the child to continue education. Basically, the parents were dropouts and did not continue. This defiantly shapes how the student is going to look at their education as is it a waste of time? Or sometimes it plays into the role were the student wants to be better than their parents and they show ultimate interest and push themselves, most of the time it is the other way around, it’s an extreme mood killer for the student. Also, in relation when the home life of the student is toxic and the student does not seem to get his feelings across to his or her parent, they loose interest in outside activity such as school

education. When the student is feeling angry, frustrated, and feeling unwanted this puts too much pressure on the student and they just want to give up. When the family is encouraging the student to continue it makes them more interested in follow thru for their education. When the parent can assist the student in every need possible at home, it makes the student be able to awser questions from homework assignments easier and they learn easier if they do not understand what the teachers talking about, they can learn it from their own parents better because the student may feel more comfortable with them assisting them. It is proven when you have an interested parent in the child’s education. Lastly, when a child is put in domestic situations day to day this can impact a child’s education. Being put down at home and seeing stressful things and two parents arguing is disturbing. Non the less when you have two parents that argue the child is watching and he or she will start to bring forth the same attitude towards their students. The majority of student that go thru domestic situations at home whether they are with their brother or sister or watching their parents fight each other end up bulling other kids. They seem to want to take out their frustration on others because they are feeling a sense of rejection. When there is negativity it only feeds negativity. If a parent abusive they should know this will impact their child and anything that they see at home the child will bring to school the next day. Its always important to keep in mind that little ears are sensitive and that parents should be always keeping a close eye when it comes to keeping peace within the household. To summarize everything up, in children’s education there are several factors that play a role in the development of education in a child’s life. Influences from all over have many aspects that affect the children’s education performance. When there are influences in a student's desire to learn, including peers, families’ members, and everything else that plays a role in affects
education performance and the ability to learn in school. Things that go through a student's life on the outside. Students need support from teachers both at home and at school to be incredibly competitive. Students must learn to make appropriate choices for themselves without concern for what others think or how they will respond. We should infer that students will face several obstacles and experiences in their lives, some of which will knock them down and some of which will build them up. However, the key cause and fundamental component is that everybody forgets and does not understand. The way a pupil functions at home and at school is a deciding factor in educational success. How their life is at home, and if they have assistance and care. .
